Golf 360 VR.

So I bought a Gear VR headset early this year and found the PGA Tour have a presence on it. Pretty cool stuff, some 360 footage of Jason Day shooting a 63 at the players. Jasper Parnevik giving a lesson, Ricky Fowler playing the 16th in Phoenix. Really great stuff and you really get the feeling of being there. Anyone else delved into VR? What do you think?
So in August I bought a 360 camera so I could mess about shooting my own 360 vids, just for a laugh. So myself and a few mates played a lovely course in Co. Wicklow called Blainroe on Saturday, we were blessed with the weather and it was a great day. So if you have a Galaxy S6 or newer or one of the newer iPhones (or a VR headset). You can have a look at me playing a par 3 early on the back 9.

Gonna invest in PSVR? Was pretty impressed with the stuff on google cardboard through my iphone so can only imagine what a proper headset and controls will be like!

I have the Samsung Gear VR headset, thats pretty cool. Samsung have teamed up with Oculus on that one. You use the Galaxy S6 or S7 in the headset. But yeah the quality will be better with the PS one or even Oculus rift. Using the headset is incredible, you really are back in that moment.

I use a PS4 controller with it too, connects via Bluetooth. Playing Quake 360, you are IN the game. Some people get motion sickness.

My mums (nearly 70!) got the gear vr for her sammy s7. Not had a go but can't wait for weds! (release of psvr)
