First topic message reminder :
Actually Davie, they didn't fit yours (apologies; 'idiocy' is a bit strong). Your earlier comments were all about how he'd actually done something terrible/illegal i.e. told them how to get around 3rd party ownership (he didn't) with the possible implication that he'd been knowingly involved in it (no evidence of this), took £400k for dodgy seminars (he didn't and he said he'd have to clear it with the FA) etc. You wanted him to be a crook from the off.
You also claimed Ben and I said he was 'innocent' - we said no such thing.
You never took S_R's approach re. his position being untenable because he was England manager, the one thing he probably falls foul of. His comments re. Hodgson/Nevile were unfortunate, but this was a private conversation and, actually, big deal. Seriously, the next poor schmuck who takes this on should treat the media as they deserve.
There may well be more to this - we'll see. Until then, the only thing he's 'guilty' of is putting himself in a stupid position cf. the FA's comments re. FIFA etc and forcing the FA to ask him to fall on his sword. S_R's right with this; the FA had little choice really.

6ft tall women with large breasts is generally big. Shock!!! She is not fat as shown by her in a bikini 1 month ago. You are wrong but to claim she has a beer belly. But if you want to believe it, thats just odd.

She might not have one now, but she had a beer belly for a very long time indeed as evidenced by virtually every photo you find of her.
She might have slimmed down now, but it's only about time. She's supposed to be an athlete, but she certainly hasn't looked like one through much of her career.

I apologise for not keeping up to date re Kvitova's BMI. She is no longer fat, but has spent all of her career thus far being fat.

Mac, sometimes you show yourself to be very half witted. You simply need eyes to know what is fat or not.
As for your perception I have limited success with women, you're not exactly a silver tongued lothario or ladies man yourself are you?
You openly admit to being a football fan, Tiger worshipper, F1 fan, golf fan, computer games player, travel by bus, have low a skilled, low paid job and live in a rented tenement. I can't exactly imagine you have to beat a path through hordes of women to get to your door with a background like that.

I guess the self righteous political correctness must be pleased to see the US desperately trying to kick-start another Cold War by expelling 35 Russian diplomats.
No mentioning the whole misery was due to the Clinton campaigns own incompetency in dealing with amateurish Nigeria-type scam mails. The grapes must be extremely sour in Washington -- and Vladimir must be laughing his butt off.

Incompetence to spare.
Both National Committees were hacked; only Democrat nonsense was leaked. White House action broadly agreed with by both parties - the PEOTUS is a whole other "party" all his own.

Doesn't matter. It's extremely embarrasing really, farcial in fact, with the US governments notorious record in institutionalized hacking and interfering with everything that moves or breathes, from school kids iphones to regional tribal elections in Whateverstan. Then comes a few amateurish phishing emails from a couple of vodka infused pimpled teenagers and then Uncle Sam is suddently unleashed from his Florida retirement home. Grow up. Who has the smaller hands here?
However all this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Trump as I'm pretty sure he has no interest in escalating the whole thing - so at the end he may just emerge with even 'bigger hands'. And Putin will just continue to laugh his butt off, regardless.

PEOTUS is in eternal denial it ever happened.
Even though he probably encouraged the leaks, actively or circumstantially, I'm sure you're right that he'll try to de-escalate asap. Probably the only good move he's likely to make.

I don't really understand what point you are trying to make?
Phished, incompetent, whatever, it doesn't matter because there is no good reason for Russia to interfere with US elections. I don't care what the US has done to their own citizens or to other nations that doesn't give Putin a justification for messing with another nations democratic process.

TBH the signature of "Signature" on the Signature doesn't look a million miles different in style to the signature of Titleist on their products, which itself I suspect looks quite dated to the non-golfing fraternity. It's probably our recognition and correlation to Titleist being a "good" brand that stops us from commenting negatively about it.
I would certainly give them a go at the very least, there seems to be enough comment that the performance isn't that much different to other (so-called) top balls.
I saw a Costco Wholesale by the Asda next to the Trafford Centre in Manchester. I wonder if they do/can/could/would be able to get some. EDIT - none on website.

First of all the political correctness was all over Trump for him wanting to improve relations with Russia, emphasizing the need to play hard ball with Putin. (After the current admin has had 8 years to do so.) Secondly, it's a massive overreaction. It cold war antics all over. Can't see why this has suddently become comme-il-fait. I just interpret is as the dems being bad losers trying to give Trump a tough start, with establishment reps just being trigger happy hawks. An unholy alliance really.McLaren wrote:Pedro

To be fair, Putin wasn't worth doing anything about until the last couple of years or so - not sure the U.S. admin should be expected to care if he FUBARs his own people. With Crimea, Ukraine, Syria and now this alleged hacking, that's a completely different game. If the Russian state has been hacking the U.S. state, then a cold war it'll have to be. Better than a hot one after all...pedro wrote:First of all the political correctness was all over Trump for him wanting to improve relations with Russia, emphasizing the need to play hard ball with Putin. Improving relations with Russia is a laudable aim, but it look a bit stupid with being all one-way and Putin doing just whatever he pleases.

Re: Another Drive4show 'Anything goes' thread
Cold war so be it? Sounds like children playing adults. Immature and medieval at best. Hypocritical at least. I really can't believe Europeans being after Trump when no-one has done anything serious to solve Ukraine, Syria etc. anyway. The Ukraine crisis started 3 years ago, Syria over 5 years ago. Why is that suddenly a different game? Just because people don't like Trump it is fair of him to say that these places are none of USAs business. How can we expect and demand it is the US' responsibility to solve when it is in our own backyard? And why should we care anyway, both when it comes to Ukraine, Syria and Taiwan? Why does the (European) political correctness suddenly think US imperialism and cold war antics are honky-dory, demonizing Trump for him wanting to mind his own business, when they probably spent most of their youth in anti-US anti-imperialist demonstrations and romanticizing about a pacifist socialist paradise? Why is it suddenly wrong to pick up the phone and talk to Vladimir, just because he isn't Mr. Smoothy Slick either?navyblueshorts wrote:To be fair, Putin wasn't worth doing anything about until the last couple of years or so - not sure the U.S. admin should be expected to care if he FUBARs his own people. Better than a hot one after all...pedro wrote:First of all the political correctness was all over Trump for him wanting to improve relations with Russia, emphasizing the need to play hard ball with Putin.
Improving relations with Russia is a laudable aim, but it look a bit stupid with being all one-way and Putin doing just whatever he pleases.
Did you see the guys the FBI are wanting for the Russian hacking thing? Pimpled teenagers god dammit! Hardly Echelon, NSA or the Enigma Team, yet 35 diplomats got expelled. And it’s not like anybody cast the ballot for Billy Bob anyway. (Btw, don’t you think the US is better off now than if Clintons campaign manager had become national security advisor? ) And where was the uproar when the US hacked Merkel and probably knows the color of her favorite knickers? And when US interferes in just about every election you can think of, from the German Bundestag to the Miss Teen Timbuktu pageant? And where is the uproar when all of us, including European politicians, are probably being tapped by the Echelon, NSA, or whatever they are called, as we speak? I am really shocked that the hate for a man (Trump) completely overshadows peoples rational judgment risking to throw all of us into cold war again. As I said earlier, Vladimir must really be laughing his a*** off.
