Because they're still a big club with a nice stadium and a strong academy.
I personally think Mallinder needs to go.

Does that outweigh being signed knowing that the person ho is signing you is unlikely to be there next season? That has to bring uncertainty as how would you know if the knew guy is likely to fancy the way you play. For me it would be a tough sell, nice stadium and strong academy or not.

Very talented pair of near identical twins. Little bit light of build at the moment but when they've finished growing could be really good players. You can tell they are being coached by Braid.

It depends on the £'s ...its that of the right amount then the uncertainty isn't an issue.

Thanks Sam, don't know much about them at all, just was talking to some other falcons fans about the famous England 7 spot and their names were brought up.
They suggested that a few years down the line we could 'potentially' have Underhill, Evans and these Curry's fighting for the 7 spot? And ive barely seen any of them play...

Evans and Underhill could be sooner than a few years. Next summer or the following season could see them being looked at with the Saxons, subject to Underhill changing where he plays. Evans at 19 has looked good playing for Tigers and I'm a pack where Cockerill likes muscle and experience he has already made 16 first team appearances. Very talented all rounder but not a well built lad, he could do with broadening the shoulders a little.

Ah well good to hear...depending on which route EJ wants to take the particular position.
And out and out 7 or stay with a more physical 6 style player.

Could have a U20 World Cup back row of
6) Curry
7) Evans
8) Mercer
Bench Curry
That is scary.
TBH our Under 20 team this year could be the best yet.

Whichever brother has had more game time (Ben, I think) looks superb and a better prospect than Evans for me. Also not 19 until mid June, so making an impact in the AP as a forward at that age is some effort.

Different players. Curry looks to be more in the Salvi style with a high tackle count and niggle at the breakdown. Evans is a good footballer and link man who is in over the ball at every opportunity as opposed to making the tackles. Nice options to have coming through.

Well Bristol will have a erm robust centre partnership with Siale Piatau and Will Hurrell. No excuse for not getting front foot ball now.

Sure, certainly different roles. Saw Curry single-handedly put a stop to several mauls the other week having made his way though the middle. He's definitely a physical presence. Should probably have clarified that I think Evans will be a cracking player himself.

So are Quins, but allegedly nobody wanted to sign for us once Conor announced he was going until a new coach was settled in. Cipriani specifically was pencilled in but scared off by Conor leaving

They have a very good 12 at Munster (Scannell) - who is also very versatile.
To be honest JJ will still be no closer to a starting slot than he was when he left - if anything Bleydaal and Scannell will put him further down the pecking order as both are better players than Keatley.

Rumours growing in Edinburgh that Magnus Bradbury and Blair Kinghorn might be moving on.
I'd be very surprised if Kinghorn left at 19 when he's getting game time.
Bradbury has really come on this season too.
Adam Ashe leaving Glasgow is going about too. That's less of a surprise though.

I would be surprised if any of them moved on. Bradbury and Kinghorn are to young and not yet really established, a decent pay rise should secure both of them and it would be in their interests to stay for now and get properly established as internationals, which they may well be soon.
We still don't really know how good a player Ashe is yet, as he has proved quite fragile, albeit showing some very good flashes when fit. He may not get the pay rise he will be looking for in Scotland due to not having played all that much over the past two seasons, so he would be the most likely if anyone is willing to take a punt on him.
The players we will need to off load are some of the more expensive ones, to free up some budget to reward the up coming ones. Josh Strauss and Ryan Grant are two high earners at Glasgow who may be the ones to move on. Grant will struggle as his form has evaporated over the past two seasons. We would all love Josh to stay but may struggle to give him the contract he wants or deserves. He may be slightly off his best game these days but will still do a job but he may feel his career is moving towards its end and a pension plan may be in his mind.
It will be interesting how it all pans out. Henry Pygros was signed up again today, so at least that is one of our key players off the market now,

The problem with Bradbury is that he is an absolute bargain for any Jeff team looking for a far better than average loose forward. He's a Sean O'Brien in the making - never seen such a young loosie who is always guaranteed to make yards. If I was Leicester Tigers, for example, why wouldn't you want a kid like that in your squad?

Don't underestimate the attachment young Magnus may have to the SRU. His mum is the Vice President after all. He won't be going anywhere this time around, though not necessarily in the future.

We certainly need some tough uncompromising backrow players who'll make yards. We can't keep playing Fitzgerald at 6. If Bradbury fancies it and wants to bring the Glasgow defence coach with him...
If Strauss is leaving Glasgow he'd be ideal for a couple of seasons whilst young Fred Tuilagi comes through at 8. Some added leadership in the pack would help as well.

Bath desperately need a tight head after Wilsons departure and Thomas long term injury. Blackadder reportedly sniffing around Franks, Faamaimu and Malherbe. I'd be pretty happy with Nel though, I know he's out of contract also.

Yep Fred Tuilagi Jnr is Freddie's son. He's a number 8 much in the mould of Henry Tuilagi. He needs to improve his ball retention and fitness but he has the power to be a fantastic 8.
Brian Tuilagi is Freddies other boy that came through Tigers academy and is now at Sarries via Falcons. To be honest he wasn't as much of a talent, in fact there were a few whispers he only stayed in the Tigers academy for as long as he did to keep the family on side - Freddie snr is their agent.
Henry has a ridiculous number of young kids I believe, I couldn't tell what age they are though.

Please don't, they've made some questionable choices in recent seasons. Given the kicking we took in Glasgow I'm fairly certain our coaches will have noticed your talented players. That's how we spotted Owen Williams (our LV team lost on a trip to Wales and we decided if we couldn't beat em we'd sign em).
Carlos, Alex has some kids as well though it'll be some time before we see them come through.

I couldn't tell you if Henry has returned from France since finishing playing.
Similarly I couldn't tell you if Alesana's family home is still in Thorpe Astley or if he'll return there after playing.
Whatever happens there could soon be the rugby equivalent of an arms race as the various sons, nephews, cousins, siblings etc start growing up!

The family and half of Samoa all with Freddie Snr as their agent. I hope he's nostalgic of his times at Tigers and keeps recommending player like Mulipola to the club.

Rumours are Bath are interested in Henry Slade but Baxter has denied it. Does that mean Ford wants to leave?

9.Fotuali'i 10.Cruden 11.Banahan 12.Bowden 13.Joseph 14.Roko 15.Watson
Plus Robbie Freaun and Clark coming through. Doesn't look too bad if Blackadder can get their best out of them.
If Aueterac and Thomas can suddenly kick on and fulfill there potential (always a big if with props) then Blackadder will have one hell of a starting XV on his hands. With Jack Walker coming through your not short of talent in the front row but depth and experience is needed.

From what I've heard Ford back to Tigers is still the favourite. The chance to play as much rugby as he can with Ben Youngs as his half-back partner is apparently a significant influence for him.

It'll move him closer to his family and isn't his girlfriend from up North? Which may make life easier off the pitch.
Sale are desperate for a top line 10 so will splash the cash but I'd imagine Ford may wait to see what other signings they announce first because their squad needs some serious strengthening.
