Why no thread about the Monaco card?

Quiet evening and was looking to read something about the Monaco card, but there isn't anything.

Sadly, Murray has got another opponent, Chudinov has withdrawn with a virus, after Arthur withdrew with an injury. He has the German MW champ (?) As a last minute replacement. Easy/dangerous opponent, depends how you see it. He should be way too small, but on the other hand, he's unbeaten and got nothing to lose.

Some competitive bouts:

Ortiz v Scott
Smith v Sosa
McDonnell v Solis
And now:
Murray v Lawal

Predictions?

Never seen solis but I'll go with Jamie
Ditto with lawal but I'll go with Murray

Very good card only fight I don't see as competitive is the Ortiz one

I pretty much agree with your assessment.

I've not seen Scotts last two, and best, performances but going on previous history I'd go for a KO for Ortiz from 3-6.

Sosa should be too much for Smith.

Like you, seen very little of Solis and can only go in boxrec for Lawal.

Jamie has matured into a decent talent. Nothing earth shattering but certainly a worthy world champ. He should do it.

Lawal looks all the world as a proverbial banana skin. Yes, he's a MW and Murray is a big SMW, so must should handle him easily. But Lawal is unbeaten and got nothing to lose and got a decent KO record, at MW.

It's a decent card and even the Ortiz v Scott fight night throw up a surprise.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah probably one of the worst score cards in a long long time. Absolutely utter no chance did he win that. Could have lost by two not four...but yet wins by 6. Judges need to be sacked. If the crowd boos, everyone has you down by a few...yet you win by 6...then something is wrong.

Well that was a strange round, near the end Scott almost looked like he was trying to hide behind the ref.

I like Ortiz seen hin a few times very very talented good power....but this Malik scott is turning out to be one of the worst ever heavyweights I've witnessed live.

I agree Mobile it is difficult to look good here, it is bizarre. They asked who would want to promote Malik, the question is who would pay to watch?

Nightmare question mate. He has been awful from round 1. Few random falls to the floor...tongue out....throws 10 a round. It's just utter strange. In surprised Ortiz has kept his cool for so long.

Solis got robbed in a good fight

Smith did himself proud in a losing effort in a superb fight

Less said about the Ortiz fight the better
