V2 WWC 2016- 1st Round Group I

The 2016 V2 WWC enters its second week, by the end, we will have completed our line up for the second week, let's find out who'll be there

Gone for ZSJ and Finn.

ZSJ is just class and I'm glad he got a chance to showcase this in the CWC, and Finn had some great NXT matches with Joe before his brief Universal Title reign.

The Bucks are cool and all but I'm not a big fan of theirs.

Finns injury hampered him but he was having a pretty good run up until that point you could make really strong cases for the top three names there. Tough group. Im trying to decide if Balors injury puts him back enough to vote for the other two ahead of him.

I went ZSJ and Bucks. Not big on Balor, personally, and whilst I think the Young Bucks are overrated they do manage to keep a buzz going

I went ZSJ & Shibata mainly cos i like watching him literally kick the sh*t out of people

Disappointed that there wasn't literal sh*t being kicked out of people there.

I was 3/4 of the way through a long breakdown of the whole field but I had to go answer the door and my phone deleted it so in short

Lee & Hype Bros- No

Shibata- Black marks against him, harsh as it is, for an underwhelming G1 where I highlighted 6 potential show stealing matches for him and he had 6 perfectly adequate matches, but looking at his whole year with matches against, Ishii, Nagata, reDragon, Shiozaki, ZSJr and Hero, plus the fact that 2016 has been his biggest year ever got to have him in first place (shock for me I know)

Now the hard bit

Bucks- Feeling a personal milase with them this year but they've been just as good as ever and their peak matches stack up with anyone

Balor- Maybe the most consistently very good guy in wrestling without ever hitting great, needs a heel turn to try and find his lost charisma behind the mic

ZSJr- One of the top stars on the indies this year, day to day matches can be a little formulaic and was underwhelming in CWC but when he's on he's been incredible, Mania weekend with Ospreay is one of the best matches I've seen all year, was probably better in 2015

Elgin, New Japan's Mr Consistent, gives 8/10 when your expecting 6/10, sims great matches in the G1 and looks poised to cement himself as an integral roster member but not standing out over some esteemed company

I feel bad not voting for any of these guys but I'm going for the Bucks as between Ladder War and the BOLA 6 man they've probably still blown my mind more than any of the other 3 this year

Balor 100% outstanding in NXT and started off very strong on the main roster before getting injured. Huge things to come from him.

ZSJ gets the other vote, class wrestler and how he isn't in the WWE is quite beyond me.

Because he decided to stay independent. Same as Ibushi. Hence they both made the CWC Semi Final during tapings, then once it was revealed they weren't signing up they lost live to Gran Metalik and TJ Perkins.

Let's face it they made the right choice, the crusierweights have been an abortion thus far
