So following on from your suggestion Afro I started a career with Hamburg. I trimmed some of the squad and managed to buy Tolisso and Plea as well (I think that's it). Working on building them up, the plan is to stay at least 2-3 years to win the league and champions league hopefully.

Germany has been updated on TM

Sule, Tah and Weigl all value has increased for me.

Vidal has gone down by 2.5mill!

Hero has just doubled the value of his squad I'd imagine!!

Aubameyang has gone up to £55m

Im surprised you traded in Auba for him tbh. I like De Bruyne (not as much as Auba though) Plus he's seems to have slowed down under Pep recently had a very good start but tailed off a bit but being 25 i expect it'll be another 7-9m rise tbh.

Personally don't like Aubameyang at all and thought he was overpriced before

He's not the greatest in the world is Auba but dude scores goals wherever he seems to be.

Auba has had his price rise now though and I already have Jesus so it allows me to bring in a world class AM who's still due another rise on TM in the coming weeks. Get to around the 60m mark and I'm looking at bringing in an even bigger player soon enough.

I think for me this is why im struggling to enjoy the game. It's too much transfermarkt based and numbers and not enough about fun/domestic dealings on who is better and tactics.

Weigl and Rashford are another 2 with great potential.

It has become about being able to spot the players who will go up in value first. If we want to move away from this going forward, we will need to find a system that stops this. Not sure what that is though. The FIFA approach was heading that way, but was a lot of work

Yeah the FIFA system has potential and I should have some time for that potentially.

It's just that I find this system a bit boring if I'm honest. Not sure what others feel.

What a player though.

I find it difficult to rank  his career. At his peak the best defensive FB in the world. But feels like he should have more major international trophies than 1 CL and 1 WC

He was pretty good at going forward too.

I think that he was equally good on the right or the left was massively important for Germany and Bayern too, and then to cap it off, he proved to be as good at DM at the tail end of his career too.

A great player for me.

Some of the all time greats didn't win that many international trophies, still think Lahm will be remembered as one of the greatest.
