I had to go with Slater and Rhyno because they had the longest title reign of any of these losers

A weak group but a competitive one because theres not that muh seperating them.
Probably going to vote for Balor though. I'll mull it over before deciding.

Ziggler deserves a shout because his work post-draft has been very good. Harsh on him.
I think that vote for Cena is just to get me to bite. Aint happening.

Balor for me, probably the most consistently 4* performer in the world

Finn Balor is SO boring though! Chris Jericho has been very entertaining for a while now.
The most interesting thing Balor does is a rip off of The Boogeyman's entrance.

You have never watched anything outside of Raw and Smackdown, have you?

He was on a couple Raws and one PPV.
I'm judging this on his year in NXT when he was crazy boring.
I don't know what he was like as Prince Devitt, but he's been extremely dull since he came to WWE.

He's not been at his best in WWE I'll admit, he's much more charismatic as a heel and the demon thing is stupid, why can't it just be body paint, it's WWE's inability to just let something exist without the need to dial it up to 11 and brand the Poopie out of it
I think his match consistency gets taken for granted though , his work is always very good to the point where I think people get numb to it, Jericho hasn't had a single match this year nearly as good as Balors average output

I find him rather samey and a tad dull. Not sure I care for him as a face wrestler. I like him and I'm not sure why, but I have been unimpressed.
Entrance has been overused already, music is fantastic though

Personally I'd rather a much more interesting character like Jericho than consistent wrestling. I'd much rather a program which had terrible matches but great storylines and good characters than the other way around. Unfortunately I think WWE is focusing on the latter at the moment, probably because it's less work - they can just sign up all the most talented guys around and feel comfortable knowing they're going to be putting on great matches every week, saves them having to construct interesting stories.

All I've seen Finn Balor do so far is dropkick
And I'm sure I've seen him do that about a hundred times

I do like Finn Balor but went for Jericho as he's been the most watchable part of Monday Night Raw for about 3-4 months now, plus the Y2AJ stuff earlier in the year was pretty entertaining as well.

Don't think it's match quality if you think how limited movesets still are. I think the malaise has been going on longer than these good signings.

I think it's because he understands the bare minimum you do have to do - which is to entertain.
No point doing flips and false finishes if you're as dull as dishwater - because next week we've already seen that flip now, you need something else.
The difference is, I reckon if Chris Jericho has been handed that horrible, horrible "the only thing you're going to have handed to you is your Arse" line that Balor did - he wouldn't have said it, or he would have had it changed, because Chris Jericho would never say something that sucks, because ultimately, he knows, probably better than anyone on WWE, what sucks and what is entertaining.

Re: V2 WWC 2016- 2nd Round Group H
I used to love Jericho then from around 2010-ish I began to resent him, by the time he was given the Mania run with Punk I had already gave up on him, his own desire to make a controversial return died a slow lingering death and the fact they put him with Punk for his World Title WrestleMania run meant his averageness was over exposed in a bad way, anytime he returned since then I was bored before his first segment was over.
I felt the same this year too, nothing he did interested me and I still don't know why AJ never went over him at WrestleMania but something happened in the middle of the year, he totally tapped into the online criticism he received for going over AJ and he flipped it and started talking about burying talent, he started being the guy fans hated on in an obvious way, I thought that was genuis and while it's something quite simplistic in it's execution that's because Jericho made it look simple, everyone would be playing the crowd if it were so easy.
I'm more about a character base than a Wrestler base, I'll more often than not pick the better character but while I've built Jericho up I couldn't pick him here, as good as he's been on the mic anytime he's had a match I've zoned out, I'm still not interested in the fueds he has when it comes to actual combat.
Bàlor had a tremendous first half of the year, the 2nd half kicked off quite spectacularly too, I like his style and while height might give off a negative spin to many but this is where his Demon King persona is a great leveler, it gives off a different aura, an aggressive side to him, his start on the main roster was as good as it gets, he was really unlucky with his injury but what he achieved all year was for me more than enough to at least make the semi's of this competition.

Totally agree.
Loved him from 2008-2010, then he got lazier and lazier and his constant returns became so boring, he was never around long enough to properly develop a good character. This latest return seemed to be following the same pattern and by his own account he was supposed to be gone after Wrestlemania. His partnership with Owens and the character he's playing now is really entertaining and again a reinvention from what he has done previously.
