First topic message reminder :

No major talking points IMO, more of a continuation of the big storylines.

Also am I the only one who thinks Grace has gone too heel too soon? I ask because his smarmy face character would have been fine with a little tweaking to be a great heel who still thinks he's a hero and still thinks he's doing the right thing, rather than snapping and abusing the fans a week after being a face (albeit off screen).

That is a very fair comment. I did have that option but I wanted to come back with something different (a fast forward evolution of what I saw Grace becoming if you will).

To be honest, it was Grace becoming the type of character that he is now that made me want to come back. Not because of anything 6CW related but more that my free time is pretty non-existent at the moment. I have a wedding this year, my job has a load of new projects and I am working on a house extension. So I feel burnt out most evenings. I didn't miss 6CW enough to come back with something I had already been doing, even with a few tweaks. To make me want it more I had to go for something totally different so the enjoyment would spur me on. That first promo was as easy as I hoped it would be for that reason.

I suppose story wise you are absolutely right. But promoer wise, it was the right decision for me.

On topic of major talking points, Enforcer has told Cassius that there will be number one contenders. So we have more than one man going for Zhi's gold soon.

Mutiny at the Church already.

Just promo how you want to and see what happens. You can make an argument for promos driving storylines or storylines driving promos. Should be seamless really so you don't know which is which.

Promo in whatever way you get enjoyment out of it and in your interpretation of the story.

Story so far has looked at The Church looking to require Engel, Reborn fighting that and being outright aggressive towards them, The Brotherhood and Church building a rivalry, the two of them also want to show an allegiance but not a numb mind.

Am I right in saying it's heel stable v heel stable?

Staying up for the Rumble last night was not worth it

At 12am I thought to myself shall I power through or watch first thing in the morning, I'm so so glad I went to bed.

Was it last night? Completely passed me by.

Nothing to cheer about then? I remember people saying it was quite an open rumble but the way your tone is hero the winner wasn't a good choice.

Winner isn't a bad choice, just the rest of what went on.

I did the same as you, Hero.

Wasn't too fussed about the winner tbh, more the fact that there was such hype for it being potentially a really star laden Rumble and it failed to deliver.
My one word review is 'meh'.

So I'm guessing (but don't confirm because we will get spoiler police) that Angle didn't make an appearance? Or McGregor? Or Shaq (or whoever was likely to face Big Show)

Thoroughly underwhelmed with the RR - I think its because the hype had been built up so much and peoples expectations were so high that nothing would match what we were hoping for

From what I have been reading the hype was something the fans caused.. The shows didn't offer anything other than RR being a let down.

Just read who the winner was. Like I went back in time. No opponent of his would make a casual fan buy WM

Unless it's a retirement match for his opponent..But don't think that's likely with the path WWE are going down

But even the bits the WWE hyped themselves was underwhelming. Lesnar, Goldberg, Taker all flattered to deceive

Strowman got a good run and then its like they didn't know what to do with him apart from most eliminations. Zayn got a good run but that's about it...

I got up a bit earlier than normal this morning to watch it spoiler free and to be honest I enjoyed it, I don't watch much of it these days, so as a 'one-off' match, if you will, rather than worrying about ramifications, who won etc, I thought it was decent
