Jericho was there over an hour, from #2 to final 4. Jack Gallagher's brief appearance was great.

Big Show/Big E/Mark Henry/Bray Wyatt getting a lift on a golf buggy the 65 yards from the entrance to the ring was brilliant for the wrong reasons!

Best in WWE fan logic would be someone not on the roster anymore. So I'm going with Jerome Dubois.

Worst by the same logic would be a top face who hasn't really deserved their run due to falling away. Thunder.

Personally:
Best would be someone who has been consistent over the past year and has a link to one of the champions and for me that would be a returning Dicey Reilly. I could see him coming in right at the end and hitting finishers on everyone.

Worst would be someone who either doesn't need it due to just having a big run (Liam Wood) or someone who has shown signs of stepping away a bit too much...so although the character is great someone like Costello winning would cause riots/would just leave people asking when he was going to step away next.

WWE Fan logic:
Best would be a returnee or someone who's super old...Colbert Pickwhistle was born in the 40's so is only a few years younger than The Undertaker.

Storyline wise I would say Hero is best to win it. Will start the friction in the group where Brother Clarke and Murdoch can sabotage his NoG main event.

Nothing against Hero but a returning star winning the GTG would be exactly what would annoy those who've been here consistently.

I'd pick O'Callaghan, but based on the storylines Engel has to be a contender.

Another Q - how do people see the #1 contender match playing out this week? How will zhi handle being referee?

I think he will snap, it'll end in a no contest and a multi man match will happen for the title.

With my booking head on I would go for Lex Hart as the winner of the main event from the way it has been set up. GazzyD and Grace seems a nailed on PPV match and whilst O'Callaghan wouldn't be amiss in a main event world title match I personally wouldn't pull the trigger on that at this very moment in time.

Which brings me onto yesterday's question about the Gateway to Glory: For me O'Callaghan would be the perfect winner of this match. I'm all aboard with what has been said about Dicey but obviously we aren't 100% he is returning and also I don't think his show down at Cassius at Night of Glory would require him to win the battle royal; the story tells itself.

O'Callaghan's rise through the ranks would fit perfectly into him conquering GtG and earning his shot at the big time. I also like Cerberus as an outside bet...him being an unstoppable monster is pretty straight forward to write.....depends who is holding the EWF Championship going into Night of Glory. If it's Wood then I expect O'Callaghan and if it is Engel then I expect Cerberus.

Marshall should win it, and nobody tell him.

Totally agree, which is why I said storyline and not what us as promoers may think. For that reason I would go for Dicey but as people have said it might not be the best story or someone who needs it.

As for worst, as I think there is a large amount of people that you could make a good argument for, I don't think there is many. I would say Reborn is one as he had his moment last year. Grace would be another as he has just return.

Not ruling out Joshua showing you guys how it's done. Pretty much holds all the GtG records.

In regards to Ollys question, I don't see the main event lasting long. Think it will soon descend into a brawl.

I didn't see the benefit in murdering a school of orphans for a European Title feud.

It would have put some heel heat on Marshall after Hero buggered off

It may also have got him arrested which would have meant the whole match would be called off, but you take your chances
