First topic message reminder :

So, how long does anyone give Dylan Hartley before he's resting for 10 mins in the sin bin (or maybe off all together) with the harder line being taken on above the shoulder tackles.

We are bound to have yellow cards galore for this new directive. Who do you think will be the first to receive a card.

Hartley doesn't have the worst record in town for high tackles but his 60 weeks of bans is one of the worst of all time in rugby.

Hartley hasn't kicked anyone yet either - he has a spotless record in that regard....

Brad didn't escape from punishment.

Plus Brad hasn't had a history of targetting Irishmen (hasn't gouged or punched, used swinging arms or bitten them). It's not a surprise Irish fans don't like Hartley.

I like Hartley because he used to get wound up when he was schooled, and became known as having an edge. To some extent he has successfully calmed his temper, but with that has lost his edge. So he is clearly being selected on his former reputation, keeping the promising George from getting experience and looks like Matt Lucas - what's not to like?
