Re: Glasgow and Edinburgh: Ongoing Banter Thread XV Men Chasing An Egg?!
Just watched the Connacht game. Swinson stone wall red. Intent does not come into it. Swinging arm to the head = red card. Ok the player was going down and I believe it to be an attempt to dislodge theball but that is irrelevant. Swinging arm to head = red card.
IMO Glasgow will be better without Swinson. He is a penalty machine and was so again in that game.
I also think the Connacht 10 should have had red for clotheslining Horne. NOt so clear cut but it wasn't just an arm left out with no force.
Good win tho

TJ - You need to change your name to Rule Police.
First though, can you clarify if you thought it was a red card please.

It would be a very sensible and good move for all parties.
Glasgow!!? Glasgow already have a top notch fly half. How about he goes to Edinburgh and we give the Great Unwashed Duncan Weir back!!
This x100, he'll be a bench warmer at Glasgow. Edinburgh sorely need a player like Adam Hastings

Interesting statistic from some official website or other.
There have been 61 home wins & 19 away wins in the 80 tournament quarter-final matches to date - a 76% success rate for home clubs
So what?..WE ARE WARRIORS
