We have recently had an overhaul of our internet security provision at work, and now this forum is sometimes blocked. With a combination of my phone and laptop and the process of Elimination I think the word "RiskySports" triggers our internet firewall at work and throws me out. This isn't a wind up BTW.

I have established this by noticing the only parts of the forum that are blocked to me (page 4 of this thread) and the latest page of the France Vs Scotland thread are blocked because either he has said something or has been quoted as saying something.

Sooooo, the request. Could you (RiskySports) change your name to something less Risky?

I would like to request your help in changing my username to help out poor unfortunate fools who have IT systems that do not distinguish between porn and high level cerebral discussions.

I have been informed that you are one of the best Admin's in the country, with a sense of professional pride and attention to detail, that puts people like FES to shame. I also realise that being the Admin is not a definition of who you are, but an indication of how you are able to take on roles that most people would fear.

Well the rumours are all true then, that is going to be quite a turnover of experienced players for Glasgow next season.

It had to happen I guess, the squad needs re-balancing a little bit and some of those guys would now be looking for top dollar (and deserve it). I am sure both Reid and Strauss will pick up good contracts elsewhere. They will be missed though!

Makes you wonder if he has someone in mind who can bust the line, control from the base of the scrum and tackle like a b***ard better than Straussy. I sit in quiet expectation.

I know the SRU are looking for outside investors to take up the financing of the two pro teams, but this doesn;t seem to be happening at the moment so the SRU need to look at sorting the crap out at Edinburgh so the club can provide it's share of future internationalists again!

Not many players are going to do that as well as JS, but if someone can get close and do it for a whole season as JS did for the 3 years whilst he was becoming SQ, then that may well be acceptable. They will almost certainly be a lot cheaper as well. We are going to have to have a few quid in the pot to try and hang onto Johnny and Finn next season.

I would have thought that after watching Tovey's last 2 games, you would have been desperate to get Weir back on the field again.

VC has not exactly overplayed him the past couple of weeks, so I imagine he will get a run out this weekend.

I have a feeling its about creating 'space' for Ashe. Gibbins also looks like more of a carrier than a fetcher. http://www.hurricanes.co.nz/the-canes/players-a-z/squad/callum/. Kebble coming in for Shrek and Jones for Bennett. I have my doubts we'll see too much more unfortunately.

I agree a lot of those replacements, both the ones already announced and the ones being rumoured, do look reasonably like for like.

I still think we will need another big ball carrier though, Gibbins is primarily going to replace Favaro and I don't think we can rely on Ashe on his own (albeit he is very promising), it is a very atrocious position and AA has hardly proved very robust so far.

Strauss was already one of the big earners at Glasgow. Him going will free up some cash to bring someone in, that is already being touted as the reason we are letting him go. You would imagine that Rennie will likely have someone in mind.

Edinburgh have some potential and at the least 2 relatively talented players in each spot bar maybe wing for next season. A good coach could be tempted to take the reigns and see if they can make the whole at least the sum of it's parts. All those players have shown, at least for a period, that they have ability. Consistency is now needed.

I'd completely forgotten about Tofilau - he got a good run of games at the start (and looked promising) but has barely been seen since. He is still young though and is a great athlete so a first season finding his feet as a professional is no bad thing.

Rasolea has been a bit of a flop too - his defencive positioning is awful and cost us a few tries this season he's an experienced pro with good SR experience so there's no excuse there really.

I heard Richard Cockerill is being courted by SRU/Edinburgh. He's only signed up to Toulon under Mike Ford until the end of the season.
