One of the coppers interviewed after the Westminster attack was called Mike Rowley. I thought for a minute that he might be related to Jeff, but they pronounce their surnames differently. One says 'Rowley' but the other says 'Rowley'.

At work two gentlemen turned up for a Web cast with Europe. The first guy introduced himself first then introduced his colleague as David Rowley. David then correct his colleague and said it's pronounced Rowley actually. He looked like Farage as well which creeped me out a bit.

Nothing much to be honest - which probably adds to the sense of doom. I think i'm going to quit this job. Too depressing and too much time to think about things. Also getting tired of talking with people barely able to comprehend their own job and the hours are seriously off putting. I think i'll sign up to Linkedin - a lot of my colleagues are receiving job offers from new startup pharma companies, looking for experienced security personnel and management. You've given me the restlessness bug.

I receive offers frequently via LinkedIn so it can be a good tool, it is however populated by bell ends and can be as much as a pain in the arris as FB.

You will get spammed like crazy when you first put your profile up as it registers as a new entry in the search algorithms of the recruitment companies, so make the first profile a good one.

None so far, I couldn't even be arsed to make a CV or a profile, so you know where that is going. Can't seem to book an appropriate time for a health and safety course with which I can scare corporate people into giving me a lot of money. What about you, how is the new place treating you? The absence of the steady stream of complaints about gormless colleagues and minging food like your last job has been noticeable.

Don't get stuck into apathy mate, I always have a rule that when I start moaning daily about a role, I move on.

I used to work with a guy who every day, all day, moaned about his job and refused to do anything about it because he was stuck in a rut and could not get out of it. It used to wind me up no end and I swore down I would not end up like that...

New job is good mate, the food is lovely, and I have not had time to root out the mongs, though it will happen. The current team I am in is sound, and the clunge is more than acceptable. And they bring soup to your desk.
