No wildcards for the Lions
I've just realised there will be no wildcards for the Lions. With team Wales, only 3 wildcard players can be picked but with the Lions we can pick unlimited amounts of Welsh players who are playing abroad (either in England or France for example). The Lions could choose Rhys Priestland, Jamie Roberts, Taulupe Faletau and George North.
By the way, Rhys Preistland was excellent against Northampton on the weekend. He kicked the winning penalty at the end of the game. Makes me think he deserves to be picked for Wales as a wildcard. Maybe not to start and maybe not to be on the bench but to be as a mentor to Sam Davies and to develop his skills further.

Re: No wildcards for the Lions
This International guy is beginning to sound suspiciously and affectedly Welsh-centric .....

Don't think North will make it with a back 3 of Armitage, Strettle and Abendanon now available.

There is absolutely no need for some of the comments being directed towards a poster here - if you aren't interested in the thread then just don't post on it

The impact will surely be minimal. If they aren't playing at international level it seems unlikely they will get a call up.
