Game plan - use our midfield trio to dominate the game, press on to their midfielders and attack with width to put pressure on their defence leaving Jesus room
Rugani to mark main striker, Vallejo cover
FBs free to go forward and provide width one at a time
Verratti to sit deepest and control the game, Vidal to pick passes and support attack
Kessie to support against their winger on that side, prevent him cutting in and show down the line
Mkhi and Mbappe to run with the ball, and run in behind off Jesus when he holds it up
Jesus get into the box and finish chances - look to play in Mkhi/Mbappe/Vidal, niggle the centre backs and don't let them breathe.
Subs - Marshall, Sarr, Gagliardini, Winks, Neres, Dembele, Orban

Subs: Pantilimon, Mariappa, Prodl, Watson, Immobile
Silva and Martinez to mark the striker
Kolasinac to sit in the RB position and protecting with Robben doing the work down the right side
With Evra out we want to push that right side as Nadz will be playing a replacement
Falcao to poach by getting into the box ready for the crosses from Alonso who will be getting forward to swing the ball in
Robben will be looking to cut inside and be the creator in the midfield with Motta protecting.
Behrami and Capoue to do the running with Capoue getting the furthest forward out of the 3
Sinclair to get down the left and look to impress by helping out with the crosses
Falcao to win the aerial battles ahead of Tah and Pepe
Lets get this win in our final game for a few weeks
80th - Watson on for Motta

GAMEPLAN
Miky most likely play 3atb again so we look to use our superior attack to overwhelm him and his injury hit defence. Main strategy will be target Prodl, who's slow as snail, and have Rashford stay on him, play off his shoulders terrorise him with pace. Watford's main attacking threat will obviously be Robben on right side but Grimaldo ain't no Tierney, he can defend! Mertens will track back help nullify his threat but main gameplan is not to shut him down but use our world class attacking players to create more chances than oppo.
Defence stay compact. CB's to mark Falcao. Alonso stay back intercept balls and play quick passes forward. FB's to make overlapping runs.
Wingers get byline get crosses in. Mix it up, cut in, shoot aswell. Coutinho have free role behind strikers. Rashford use pace to target Prodl. Aduriz target man and hold up player.

Neither defence really impresses me, but two very good attacks. I think Hero will see success against the Bournemouth FBs with Daniels and Klosterman struggling against Mkhi/Mbappe. Dybala's movement will give the Hull defence problems too, and the wings are dangerous. This one comes down to the midfield for me, I think the quality that Hull have in the middle of the park will really pose problems, and with Yaya not the force he was I think its too much for Paredes to handle
Hull win

I feel that the Hull tactics to try and control the game in midfield was successful, which gave them a good platform to attack Bournemouth. They attacked down the flanks, which is clearly a weak point for Bournemouth, which reaped rewards. Bournemouth will certainly cause problems too, with a similar tactic of the wide players targeting the Hull full backs, which again are the weakest area. However, the control in the middle by Hull meant they had more of the ball and therefore, made more of an impact.

Not sure I'd want my CB getting tight to Jesus as he likes to drift and would cause a hole in the defense. Other thing which sticks out for me is Dybala as a lone striker, for me he can be bullied out the game but Rugani on Dybala is a similar issue by getting dragged out of position. I'd like Hull to tell Verratti to play higher up with Vidal and Kessie more defensive. I'm going with a Hull win with Mkhitarian providing the moment of magic. I know the back four are sitting but they can't be deep and both overlap, I'd have told them to stay back at all times.
Hull win

Result = WBA Win by 2 votes to 1

This is interesting. WBA set up to face 3 at the back, but I wouldn't mark them down for that. Sinclair is more or less a non entity in this game, and I can't see Robben being the world beater he was last week with WBA able to throw their defensive resources down his wing. WBA leave Alonso a hell of a lot of work to do with him effectively playing on his own, regardless of how Rashford and Coutinho will work back. WBA the much better side going forwards, and i think their defence is strong enough to cope with the lack of protection from midfield given the lack of attacking options for Watford
WBA win
Voter 2
I felt that WBA tactics might have worked against Prodl, but with the two CBs Watford picked, Rashford was less effective and it blunted the impact he had. Robben was crowded out of the game by the WBA tactics, whilst Sinclair didn’t really impact the game. Also Kolasinac on the right took him out of the game. Because of this, Watford just didn’t impose themselves on the game and gifted it to WBA IMO
WBA win
Voter 3
The rebuilding at Watford has lead to a bit of a mixed team. I'm not going to hate on Behrami like others - overall the team is improving. Robben and Falcao both are going to provide something. They say that Silva and Martinez should mark the striker. With WBA playing two strikers three at the back would have been the ideal way to counter - but again it's a question of man-marking Rashford. That's a mistake in my eyes. WBA have a better XI but you can't leave Alonso on his own in midfield. Watford get the win for me.
