The Newest Member to the Mod Team

Afternoon all.

Due to the increased membership and how busy v2 is becoming, the Admin team is happy to announce that Fists of Fury is the newest member to the mod squad and will be covering the boxing, cricket & weightlifting sections.

Im sure you will join me in wishing Fists all the best in his new role.

I am personally insulted and dismayed that such an outstanding, neutral and angelic (to the point of making Mother Theresa look like a rage infected monkey) in yours truly hasn't been considered.

Am I right to infer from the addition of an extra mod on the boxing boards that is the tacit approval of the powers that be for us to act in an even more childish and argumentative manner. I will certainly interpret it as such and would like to thank all involved for showing such understanding of people like me's inherent immaturity.

It is a name I gave to a rubbish character of mine on a boxing game about 15 years ago, may even have been on the good old mega drive, hence I used it for this when I was stuck for a username.

At the risk of sounding like a complete dunderhead, what exactly is the difference between an admin and a mod? I can only assume that the admin is slightly higher up the authorative ladder, am I right?

The only difference i've noticed is that the admins are miserable gits in their weekly email to see how i'm doing, i never bothered to read them though as the subject usually contained the words "stop". So i did.

The mods are the peasants of the ship who after banging the captains wife (admins) get allowed above deck to make a few decisions.
