Valiant effort from Ingram 113* from 76 balls - including 7 sixes at the moment. Glam making a fight of chasing down the large Hants total.

Remarkable effort from Glam to beat Hants - included Glam scoring 76 - 2 in their last five overs.

I see Nathan Lyon is playing for Worcs - didn't know about that signing.

I reckon could be an Elclassicowashout tomorrow for several matches in the South Group.

Notts 331-3 after 40 overs. Wow

3 wickets in four balls has put a dent in Notts efforts right at the end. However 414 runs with 9 balls to go.

Essex in a decent position in their semi at home to Notts. 166/2 off 27. Cook still there on 88.

Without wishing to disparage Worcestershire and Surrey but looking at both of these sides on paper, you'd think the winner of this game will be a heavy favourite for the final

I've said more than once this season that I've been surprised and impressed by Essex in both red and white ball cricket. Tendo is generally an under rated player and skipper. That said, they only beat Surrey by 1 wicket in a group game at the Oval, a game the hosts should have won.
Notts certainly look strong on paper although I've only seen them a little bit on tv so can't properly comment as to how they're doing.

Patel needs to accelerate here - if he can Notts should win

Doesn't matter how good it looks on paper, it generally all goes to poop when it matters.

Kinda disagree. One needs to bat through, Mullaney doing the damage at the moment. Losing both at this stage would probably end this game.

And a wonderful hundred from Samit - he's accelerated at the right time, gone from 62 (84) to 100 (106) and has Notts on the verge of a brilliant chase here

Re: Royal London One Day Cup
Walter bowls an over for 4 runs, looks set to bowl at 27 needed off 3 overs, someone goes into the captains ear and now Bopara bowls instead and goes for 13 off the over.
