Then I'll bring in Percy Percival, Viper, Daniel Montgomery, Triple D, Marlon, Xanthi Rose, Grunt McGovern, Jeff Thaddeus, Frankie Trotter, Chris Jericho Jr and The Saint in to help Adamson and The TA.

I just want you to bring back the Australian Title.

Morning! Bank holiday weekend....Sorry for those of you that work Saturdays.

Grace is a diva and sprouts all manner of BS because he is selfish and thinks the universe revolves around him. There is no sign on clauses (probably), there is no #30 contract, (probably) and Cerberus result won't be void.

As for Run This Town it just him sprouting off crap because he lives for headlines where he is centre of attention and the wrestling community lap it up even when there is no substance.

He is Trump. Probably with dodgy hair too. A walking caricature of what a greedy self obsessed real life celebrity should be.

I enjoy writing as him as I can say all manner of extravagant and wild claims with no truth in them. You talking about McGraw coming back is just another example.

Maybe creative might latch onto something and use it but i don't write it for those reasons. It is just a guy being a total prick basically. At some point, because his promos get you irritated, you are looking forward to his come uppance.

I wouldn't say I get irritated, I think I switch off.

Talking about McGraw isn't exactly a compliment, I'm talking about it because I can't possibly understand why you'd throw that link in there, with everything else going on with the character? Because there is so much BS it's hard to keep up and I lose interest.

It's good (I spose) that you are doing all these things, if that's how you want to get noticed, but it's why you do it at the expense; and at times detriment to other characters that I don't get.

I'm throwing a curveball in that since I returned I've enjoyed the back and forth with Grace more than any other promo session, think Twist gives much more to work with, shows flaws in his character and throws bones back to his opponent really well. Grace is probably my 2nd fave character on the roster at present, after Hero of course.

QOTD: Favourite promo so far this year? It can be your own or someone else's but which one do you think is the highlight so far?

Mine might actually be Max Adamson and his HAHAHAHA promo as it has kind of stuck out for me personally, I think most promos including my own are just 'I'm the best, I own this place' but no matter how good they are they kind of blend in to each other, Marky's laughing one genuinely really sticks out and made me cry with laughter at the time.

As ridiculous as that sounds, it's a valid point. It was different, it generated interest.

You think I'm chucking everything out and hoping something will stick? It's a fair comment. I didn't see it that way.

I don't do it to get noticed. I do it as I enjoy it. But I certainly wouldn't enjoy it if I am doing it to the detriment of other characters. On the contrary I like Grace to be seen as weak and to give you lot ammunition to bash him with as the fraud he is.

I thought my promos were laughable with some of his claims. For instance I'm not going to congratulate Cerberus am I? Grace would want to excuse his poor wrestling talent with the idea he was cheated. Just the way he is. On here I'm full of praise with what the likes of Nando and Olly have done with their characters over the last few months.

I also loved Marky's hahaha promo. Typical Adamson and perfect way to shut Grace up. No way he could respond to that and you can bet the crowd loved it!

I haven't got a fav promo as I think most have been brilliant in their own way others have been forgettable including my own

I've enjoyed Gazzy's as well and the vulnerable nature of his character at the moment. It is an example of someone taking quite a difficult storyline and making it work.

Did I miss something in Gazzy's story as he went from depressed to "I'm back" and boppy in a week?

I read it as the fake mask of depression. Or he discovered Jesus

I don't think we've had a Bible basher as a character in 6CW, could be a winner

Grace was close wasn't he. I think I started doing Bible quotes at the beginning. I had that idea when coming back too but hero and I were returning around the same time and I was worried it would be too close to what he was doing.

When Edward Plague started he was called The Reverend and called himself a messenger of God but it slowly ended with him almost seeing himself as a God.

Gazzy dropping in and out of depression is perfect. Very real, going from acceptance to then coming into those stages of hope and also pretending to be happy to save face. Plays very well on the male bravado, especially as athletes

So will we expect to find him hanging from a locker room at some point? What with the male rate being 3x the female rate; and the fact that men can't cope as well with depression.

Yeah Gazzy putting on a mask is a real take on things. When Wood was being fecked around with his bird, I didn't think he was ever portrayed as depressed or in danger of topping himself.

It would be good to see how this progresses. Usually the good guy comes out on top over the bad guy. But in this instance the bad guy isn't someone Gazzy can fight. Maybe it is a case he moves on and accepts it only for her to reappear in a few months.

To be fair I like to play Wood as an extension of myself and when my two year relationship ended I was tinder during the break up call. It was weird, my relationship and Wood's relationship pretty much ended at the same time...art imitating life and all that.

I remember Pat dying, that was around the time I stopped watching it.

Pat came back to life 6 months later and set up her own faction with Dot and Pauline

That is what I was going for. I wanted to mix it up, I know I haven't promo'd half as much as I should have been or would have liked to, I felt they were all the same and wanted to mix it up a bit. But it was very much intended as kind of a fake persona, almost of is he's trying to convince himself he's going to be OK

Comments based upon the tree have been positive Gazzy. One of them highlighted how good the promo for the 17th April show was.

Overall I preferred it to the original, thought the humour in it was fantastic, it even had my Mrs crying at one point!
