QOTD: what do you think the title matches at Night Of Glory will be?

One more day of work, then off till tuesday and hopefully the opportunity of a new job is gonna happen soon. So no more 11 hour days.

All good here. Still trying to get into work mode after a week off. Give me until Friday I think! Hopefully that new job comes quickly - 11 hours is torture!

How was your Holiday, Portugal was it?

Yeah it was good. Only for a short break though. I think even a week was too much. Loads of Irish pubs which was an experience!

Pete, I'm going to be blunt mate because I think you need a bit of direction. I didn't see the point of that promo. I don't even think you know who the real engel is.

I'm not saying this to be harsh or nasty. I'm saying it because I think you have a real opportunity between now and NoG to decide what you want Engel to be and have a good few solid weeks of promos of a solid and workable gimmick you can build on.

Think that promo was a bit rushed. Take a breather, reread the ppv and chat to a few people (I'm always up for advice if you want it). Then promo next week with a plan of action for not only Aftermath but for all the shows towards the big one.

Tbf to Pete I am going to be promoing over the next two weeks with no idea where OC is going - just gotta go with you gut and put up good stuff imo, if its wrong, its wrong

True Olly but you have foundation of a character to work with so you have a common thread through all your promos. So regardless how stories go or if you are unsure of direction now, you can still stick to a tried and tested theme you have used for OC over the past few months.

That's what I think Engel is missing and needs. One or two common gimmicks, even if it's a few catchphrases or mannerisms to start with (Zhi and his green tea and neck clicks). If Pete wants to go on now with deranged Engel, complete with blood and devil's then fine.....but stick with it. But I'm not sure whether he does or because he feels a bit lost. That's why I said what I did and offered to help.

Love that promo, Pete, always good to get something off your chest to get the juices flowing.

Really liked the Engel promo and maybe it's just me but it did feel consistent.

Throughout Engel's time in 6CW we've seen him try to fit in, he's gone fully psycho with the Xtreme lot, he's tried to be the corporate stooge and he's tried to be the baby face but what I've seen from promos is the crazy side of him trying to break out now and again...he stalked Dicey and Reborn and having Reborn stab him in the back as it were it really does make sense that it would bring out this crazy side of Engel that wants revenge.

I see Engel as very child like in many ways, especially in the way he seems to get attached too people...this is him throwing a strop and wanting to break everything.

Does it work as a baby face character? No, not really but I think Engel could work as a great unhinged face...the sort Dean Ambrose SHOULD be in WWE. You could have it so the fans get behind Engel because of the way he beats the hell out of the bad guys and just how far he'll go to do it...borrow some of Shane McMahon's death defying spots and you've got a great gimmick there and one that I think has been the spine of the character throughout the changes, although at points a little too subtle.

I had one off yesterday and its like I've been off for weeks the amount of work I have come back too

Do people just leave stuff for you thats easily sortable do even though you are off like they do at my work.

Somethings they could do themselves but its on my Role profile so they don't bother

QOTD: (one about yourselves to get people joining in). What's next for your character at Aftermath? Any new feuds teased?

Grace fully expects to go after Zhi now.

Dicey and JJ will end up fighting in their tag match which will lead to a match at NoG, hopefully a gimmick match of some kind

I want JJ to call your bluff and interrupt your promo dressed as a leprechaun

So Grace is booking himself to face the 6CW Champion?

As for Wood I kind of know a little which is what my promo hints at...I can't see Cerberus picking Wood though so he'll defend the title at N.O.G against someone and have a dreadfully OTT entrance.

Of course. Dicey failed to beat Zhi, Reborn failed to beat Zhi, Lex failed to beat Zhi.

Grace beat Zhi at DoR so is the obvious choice to be next in line. Yeah it was technically an elimination from GtG rather than a normal match but who bothers with the finer details.

Genuinely not sure for Hero, feel that whenever I've had a back and forth with anyone that it's been decent and hope the other person has enjoyed taking part in them too, just like to go into a feud where it's someone who prefers those type of promos really.

I think there is a few characters waiting to see what happens over the next show or so to see who they'll be facing

Last look, and I would be surprised if there were not one or two late changes, had 8 matches on the card

Loving the hero/engel dynamic, both trying to gain control of the collateral.
