Morning Dicey - morning all

Grace, Wood, Zhi, Dicey and GazzyD. I remember Grace got less wages but a big share of merchandise sales %

My guess would have been Grace, Hero, Dicey, Zhi and Wood

I dont think gazzy would be on the highest wages. His story about being on his ar $e financially in the past would go with that. Plus he was a catalyst in 6cw reopening its doors so i imagine he'd be on as little as possible to aid the company in growth. I imagine he'd see some hefty commish from merch sales though

You think Gazzy is perhaps a bit naive or poorly represented? Maybe he has been paid well but made some big financial mistakes.

Just that I think the salaries were released not long after the Gazzyd and Adamson feud, which I could see generating a lot of interest. Perhaps in negotiations Max talked himself up for a higher wage but Gazzy went with the flow "for his love of 6cw"

I tell you what....if that story came out then Gazzy's current state would be ripe for a heel turn. Not as if 6cw is going above and beyond to rally round to someone who has given so much to the place.

Tbh i didnt realise there was an official wage list. Mustve missed that one haha

I was just working on gazzy feeling that he owes the company something so would do this for almost zero pay (obvs not quite minimum wage though)

We explored a gazzy heel turn ages ago.......it did not go well lol. The group were brilliant but i sucked as part of it

That's the issue. I think the bigger story would be Gazzy going heel on his own. If you don't get your back from the brink, Gazzy defeats all the odds big ppv match win then how much crap would Gazzy need to take before he goes screw this.

Sorry Steel for not getting back to promo-ing been a hectic week done a lot of overtime cos nonces put a lot of people on holiday when shouldn't of been & im out for my birthday tomorrow.

Afternoon guys

Apologies to those in my match for no promo this show. To be honest I didn't really have the creative juice for it. That's nothing against the way things are going, I'm pumped for next show, but I just don't think there's anything new to say in the build up to another tag team match. The promos would become monotonous and I don't want to go over old ground. Having been on creative I know the reason for the tag matches, I just couldn't get myself up for it.

I am really looking forward to a monster back and forth with you, Dicey, from tomorrow mate.

Grace at the top. I like Hero's 50k ppv bonus if he doesn't headline. Gives him a reason to be as mediocre as he is now

At the top on flat baseline pay, I do 1 show a year and don't headline a PPV and I'm quids in.
Chris also mucked it up beforehand and had me on £100k for every show, I'd have made the company bust.

Maybe that is your plan all along? It certainly would be something Grace would do.

Collectively, when everything is put together, we could be costing 6cw around 2million a year. In Grace's case, being a diva and refusing to do media stuff (as well as targeting the 6cw world champ) must grate with 6cw when they are giving him so much.

Like Nando tweeted.....what has Grace actually done to command that fee? Recently it has been promises of great things which never materialise. Could say the same about Hero.

Is it name value alone? Must be.

Or that we're savvier when it comes to contract negotiations than the rest of the simpletons who just love to wrassle.

Think it was more that you have risen up the card recently so 6CW is going to offer you a higher salary, your current salary reflects your earlier position. Don't think it means it's close to expiring.

You could argue the simpletons are the ones paying those wages, when those paid constantly stick two fingers up at their employers!

Max Adamson the manager is on the same as a few active wrestlers. That's gotta hurt.

Hopefully, tonight's show (due to start around 9) should inspire with moving stories forward, and the next card is juicy.

I'll be honest, I didn't get it. I couldn't work out whether you were writing another shoot promo, taking digs at the GM's for not booking your ideas, or if that is genuinely what Grace is doing at the moment?

I mean, it's excellently presented, well written, punctual, good dialect, but I just don't get it.

I thought it was a great promo Twist, I like Kramer and it shows there is more behind the scenes goings on that we are told about, Grace could be the top heel in the fed if used right

It doesn't read as a shoot or a dig at anyone imo but I doubt the promos get read anyway so it doesnt matter

I have had another read through and the only person I can see attacking is Grace himself. Kramer talked about how little talent he has and how he is basically used as a commodity for Monster Energys financial gain. I don't see what can be taken as an attack on the GMs unless that's how you want to read it regardless of what's there.

Each to their own though. If you can't understand it I suppose it's a good job you aren't in charge. Otherwise you would get peed with everything I say. Not that it doesn't happen now of course

My only note on it would be Henry Lloyd in an interview breaking kayfabe doesn't fit. I'd have had it as someone not on the 6CW payroll, maybe a Bleacher Report or even The Sun online.

OK I see that point. I picked Henry as he was a fan of Grace but wanted to come across shocked at his attitude. I suppose nothing would shock him in real life. But doesn't behind the curtain break kayfabe? That's produced by 6cw yes?

Neither of you wanna run this blooming place: no one is ever happy or reads the shows!

I didn't take it as a criticism, I can definitely see your point. All promos should have a disclaimer.
