We sold Nordtveit, which in itself is a marvel. At least £4m, Sky thinks it's 8. He's gone to Germany, and Reece Oxford has gone on loan to Nordtveit's old club Monchengladbach. Really happy with that as they've shown they play and develop young players, especially defenders.

Easy to say in hindsight but it was a move that made very little sense at the time and if I recall it was Raiola who was trying to force Fergie's hand.

Hoping Shez can bring out the best in him again like he did in his first stint here and at Chesterfield. I'm happy we've actually signed someone before the new season starts and not lost any key players (so far)!

I posted earlier in this topic that he'd be our signing of the summer. Really like the thought of that midfield. I haven't seen enough of Dier to warrant whatever extravagant fee Spurs would ask for and I don't see Matic as much as an upgrade on Fellaini tbh

As is always though until I see them wearing the shirt I'll take every press report or interview with a pinch of salt

I said earlier I don't see matic as an upgrade on fellaini (granted I'd probably trust him more as Fellaini is clumsy)

He's much better than Fellaini, but does bode more to Mourinho's defensive tendencies. Squad game, he might not play a big part against your Brightons or Huddersfields

He is better than Fellaini, not sure massively though. Great 2 seasons ago, largely exposed the following season, then decent this year with Kante effectively doing most of the work in front of him.

Hes trusted by Mourinho though, which would be the clincher over a Fabinho etc
