Arnautovic is down and this time it looks pretty serious. It looks like he might need a stretcher. Stoke's medical team is looking pretty concerned and Bojan and Erik Pieters have gone over to check he's all right.
SOUNDS PERFECT FOR WEST HAM NOW

Our targets seem to be:
Arnautovic
Hernandez
Gray
Wanting all three. I think there's interest in Hart on loan. Look likely to sign N'Diaye from Turkey, which I don't think will be a notable one but more a punt.

That is mental
A £50m asset and they loan him out, practically taking him to the end of his contract - are his wages that much of an issue?
Bayern did it with Coman and they'll probably benefit here too

Insane, Madrid obviously keen to get his wage off their books at any cost. 5m euro per season with a future fee of 32m....that's cheaper than what Everton have been quoted for Sigurdsson

How any of the top 6 didn't think it wasn't worth a punt to sign him for less than £50m I don't know, Real were desperate to get rid.
Doesn't help adding to the kitty to entice Mbappe though.

I'd imagine as soon as a top 6 premier league club came sniffing you could take that 50m and add on an extra 15-20m simply because European clubs know the money involved in the premier league
In other news West Ham United and Manchester United are set to go head to head to secure the services of Joe Hart (according to Simon Stone). West Ham see him as a first choice, whereas at Old Trafford with De Gea looking like he'll not force through a move to a Madrid, there is a feeling that the club won't stand in Romero's way should an offer come in whereby he would get regular football, Hart would back up De Gea. I'd imagine West ham would be favourites if Hart is looking for first team football

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017 Thread
Can't see Man Utd being interested at all, Mourinho really rates the current 3rd choice Pereira and gave him a new 4 year contract recently so would imagine he'd get the step up to 2nd choice if Romero left.

There's no way he should be a regular starter after all the money they've splashed (and continue too - Sigurdsson to be confirmed tomorrow)
rooney deal to me seems more like a promotion of the club than a footballing reason and dont think koeman was the main man agreeing to the deal, cant see where he'll fit in footballing wise. hasnt got the legs to play up top, and only place would be barkley/sigurdsson position. feel like the board have been the ones to do this to get evertons name out there and increase foreign interest in the club.
im sure he'll start, koemans hands will be tied there. and will probably be in place of people who could offer more but dont have the name

Jack Coke to Burnley (nice little signing)
Zooms to talk to Stoke and West Brom over a loan move
Everton gonna chase Gylfi still as it's more time efficient than just burning the money. Also signing Cuco Martina, so I seem to see.

Not sure what to make of Lukaku move.
£75 million up front, add ons and Rooney on a free to them adds up to a huge fee - could probably have got any striker in the world for that.
Never really rated Lukaku, scores goals but is poor technically, really clumsy and lazy.
He'll need to improve a lot.

Stoke want £24m for Arnautovic because they have a 20% sell-on clause with Bremen. I'd imagine that one is gonna get sorted soon, so should be our first signing of cost this window. Hart on loan also gathering more pace.

Why they are positions you need. Also Perisic is better than of your current wingers. Matic is still sh*t & Dele Alli will die if he can't do silly handshakes with Dier so it's all a plus.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017 Thread
Personally don't even understand why we're interested in either. I'd have Fosu-Mensah there over either of them
I like the Perisic business. Hard worker and can actually deliver a cross. I can't wait to see a corner beat the first the first man
I still think there's something big to come though personally

Fosu-Mensah isn't near the standard of either.
Got to say, if you complain about Perisic and Dier coming in to add with Lukaku then you're wishing above your means.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017 Thread
Like I say I like the Persic business. makes a lot of sense. Good on either flank and has a consistent cross. Also a big advocate for the Lukaku signing. Better shots on target and chance conversion ration than Zlatan last year. I couldn't care if he can't pass so long as he puts the ball in the net
I agree Fosu Mensah is not as advanced as Dier or Matic at this present time, but when all you want is a player who is mobile and can tackle to free up Pogba and Herrera then £50m (even more if Dier is the signing) for either Dier or Matic is silly when Fosu Mensah is strong enough, quick enough and can tackle, and despite being dutch, would class toward the home grown at club quota

I'd say United probably want a bit more than being strong, quick and useful in a tackle. Lee Cattermole does 2 of those things.

In fact, given the targets are Dier and Matic, that reading of the game and discipline are far more important than pace to Mourinho.

If both Dier and Perisic were around the 30m each then I wouldn't mind too much, it's potentially 115m for the pair though.
Know it's a sellers market this summer but there's surely a better value CDM and LW for that money?
