So it's confirmed.....mayweather vs Conor McGregor.
The lay public and mostly MMA fans will be most enthused by this fight. I think it's the start of a WWE style entertainment farce. People will be going crazy on social media about the legitimacy of this fight and how it's the greatest thing to ever happen. The reality is that it is chalk and cheese fighting......might as well pair Andy Murray up with Freddy flintoff for the WBA belt. The spanner in the works could be mayweather along lay off and age. Is this a horrendous scam fight or should we be excited that boxing is reaching even more platforms?

50-0 but Keith Thurman is the one stopping him from achieving true greatness, I fully agree that makes perfect sense.

People hate the man, but they will respect the talent. I don't deny being a big fan. I remember watching his early career and thinking, Wow! This guy is going to become one of the greatest boxers ever!

He just makes the sport look so effortless and when he was younger he had a great mix of offence along with his mesmerising defence.

His demolition jobs over Corrales and Gatti were essentially punch perfect. He might not be 'TBE', but he is certainly one of the best talents ever.

Cortez was spot on in the Hatton fight, it was the Hopkins/Calzaghe debacle that he was poor in.

You're not allowed to grapple. Anytime he let them fight in close, Floyd busted Hatton up.

It was a disgraceful effort from Cortez he works on the opponent's mind like Weeks he had Hatton wary of throwing legitimate shots by the half way point so I have an asterisk by that performance for Floyd love to have seen that fight in Manchester and Floyd not allowed his drugs
