less awesome than I first thought news - ATP rights picked up by Amazon
According to the Grauniad, Amazon has outbid Sky for the rights to show ATP matches.
That means all except the slams will be available to Amazon Prime customers!

Yes Guest like you I am on Amazpn Prime but never watched TV on it just random films or TV episodes. Not sure how that will work but bet it will mean paying for it.

Is this true? Certainly hope it is. My mrs is a member of Amazon Prime (does more shopping than Santa Claus - not sure that's the right analogy but you get my drift!), and didn't realise we got TV with it. We've also got Netflix and Sky box sets and we think Amazon Prime is much better (since we starred using it). Love it. Each to their own I guess. Though she's not gonna be happy when I keep having the tennis on if this is the case!

I think Sky refused to pay the same amount as previously - £8m per year. Or as someone else put it: 18 minutes of Premier League football.
They've put all of their eggs in the football basket and are having to cut elsewhere.
Amazon have purchased the rights to some NFL games and now live tennis. As a sports fan in general this means I am paying for three separate methods - Sky, BT and Amazon. Whilst competition is healthy, it's maybe the customer that is paying the price.
