Keeper Rules

- 3 players per year max.
- Can keep players twice (so three years total per guy) before forcible release.
- Players take the value of their draft round in the first redraft.
- Players move up in value by 5 rounds for the second redraft, or as high as they can go otherwise.
- If you end up with stacked picks (multiple players as keepers who count as the same round) they build up backward. e.g. if my keepers are draft picks 3, 4 and 5, I would lose draft picks 3, 4 and 5 in the first redraft and 1, 2 and 3 in the second as each player would be upgraded to an effective 1st rounder by the 5 round rule and therefore stack up.
- Undrafted players are valued at round 10 for the first redraft.
- Traded players initially count as there drafted position with the +5 rule in effect for all subsequent years.
- Years of eligibility are team specific, based on the round value of the player when traded to you. e.g. if a player is drafted in round 12 and is kept by another team for one season they will be valued as a round 7 pick when traded in year two due to the +5 rule.
- Abuse of the above rule by trading away a player over the keeper period only to get them back afterward will invalidate the resetting of two year eligibility.
- Once a player has no eligibility left on a given team they will count as a 1st rounder if traded away to somebody else and retained

Cheers Thought I was going to lose at the end as I thought the 49ers would end up with a field goal before Brieda broke free to get a TD. Robbie Gould gettung the PAT rather than a FG made the difference.

There some bit's of info below... it was actually one of the lower scoring seasons overall. The draft order is below for next year, and if you could, it would be useful to set up tentative keepers now. Obviously you can change down the line, but better to set something up in case your away or whatever when next year rolls around and we are inevitably all last minute about it!

I'm trying to remember how to find the results of the previous year's draft, won't show waiver moves but will give you an idea

I completely forgot I had Gurley in this league last year

There is a way of looking up last year's draft results... You need to get into the league history section which is easy enough via the front page of the league on the desktop website but not on mobile...

Unhelpfully I have a spreadsheet that figures out all of the round charges on my cpu, but I can't access it at the moment! I am back next weekend to pick this all up again... thanks for starting to round up the troops

Should take you through to the full league history, where you can see draft results and transactions, which should tell you which players are adds so will be 10th round keepers

Right... Still missing two teams, and they haven't set keepers post the season. Take it to the House has logged on recently, but GB1919 has not so if anyone from the Central League wants to take over then let me know

As with the Central division, I'll give that a little while longer and re-hassle by PM. I will aim to set up a new thread over the weekend sometime.
