The dossier is a mile wide and growing, Julius. But the 'Shame on you!" folks like mimicking ostriches when their 'Queen' is threatened. "He likes too much Beer! He likes too much Beer!"

A victim is a victim, an accuser is an accuser. But I understand the inability to decipher plain English in this Orwellian world where four fingers shown is five fingers if O'Brien says so.
So funny that in a real program called of all things BIG BROTHER...the demonstration of the meaning of both words came to the fore so dramatically...so recently.

This Kavanaugh debacle has given the Dems a boost in the polls just at the right time..

(PRC)Trump approval breakdown data...
Approve
Republicans 84%
Democrats 7%
GOP wouldn't dare impeach him..He is Polarising like Bush Jr..
Looks a shoo in for Reselection in 2020 too..
GOP 70% likely to keep the Senate according to FiveThirtyEight..
Looks like the House is lost though..
Biden looking like he is going for it....Age a problem though.

GOP nomination odds..
Donald Trump 4/9..
Nikki Haley......20/1..
Unless he is impeached it looks like Trump has a 50/50 chance of 6 more years..
The races for the White House start early next year and unless he loses the Senate next Month which is doubtful it will be...
Trump v Warren/Harris or Biden...in 2020..

Re: The Trump Presidency
Biden is a lame duck. Only a party wanting to commit Hara Kiri would choose him. He has much too much baggage for the Trump insult machine to tag onto.
Harris tries to appear incisive and an intellectual superior but she too has been ridiculed in Senate sessions by outside voices that weren't in a mood to be intimidated by her Lights/Camera/Action pre-Presidential antics.
But she has gotten the Ellen DeGeneres seal of approval, so you never know..........
Warren? Elizabeth Warren?
Is this really the best Democrats can do?
Some wise heads are suggesting that the real candidate will be Hillary Clinton Mark3 - and that she'll be pushed on the party again, even if many groan at the prospect. Nothing worse than a woman scorned twice. 'Third time lucky' is in her every motion and word these days. Her engine-room is rising the revs week by week.

Trump's chances of getting a second term, provided he does run again, are near enough certain.
Only surprise about the 2016 result was he didn't win by a bigger margin on the electoral college. Well, he should get that much bigger margin in 2020. Hope the bookmakers underestimate him again.

Re: The Trump Presidency
Theres no doubt in my mind Bernie Sanders would have beaten Trump, but he got screwed in the primaries and the Democrats put up their worst candidate in decades.
Having worked under Obama and been the subject of some admittedly funny memes Biden would be a very popular choice. Would probably be able to replicate atleast some of the success Obama had.
If Bernie doesnt want to run again then Elizabeth Warren would certainly be a suitable replacement for the progressive vote. Whether America is ready for a female president yet or not is another matter entirely.

I had honestly forgot Clinton won the popular vote, but I still sometimes struggle to come to terms with the fact Trump is President. The past few years are just a mess.
We've had two female PM's, but I'd be interested to see how close a BEM person has come to being party leader, let alone Prime Minister. Given that there is still huge swaths of people in London who oppose Sadiq Khan purely because of his religion gives pause for thought.

Dream on. America (quite rightly) loathes socialism. Many that just about gritted their teeth and voted Hillary wouldn't have been able to do the same for Bernie.

Midterm results: Republicans retain Senate, Democrats take House of Representatives.
As I understand, this means the Dems can now investigate Trumps administration, business dealings, tax returns and potential conflicts of interest, while blocking legislation. Could be a massive hammer blow for Trump.
And if anyone still doubts whether voting matters or not, Rep candidate Steve King was elected in Iowa by just 40 votes, and another seat in Maine was won by a staggering 22 vote margin.

Obama lost both houses in his first term..
Undoubtedly a blow for Trump but he only gets impeached in the Senate and now that prospect seems as distant as ever..
Like Corbyn over here...Trump has most of the MSM against him so unless their is a smoking gun which I doubt....
People know they have a flawed President but 45% of Americans don't mind..
Why ??...The Economy.

I honestly don't understand why Americans more than any others worship the god of the economy. Wages in the USA haven't gone up since the 1980s, all of the money is just funneling upwards. A growing economy is absolutely useless to most Americans, it's not making them richer at all.

We all got Gods. Trump supporters don't understand why so many Americans worship the god of socio-sexual, identity science activism. That pays no wages at all. Can't buy a loaf of bread with that stuff.
So the argument is the same.
Plus.................. a growing economy is still more likely to pay your bills than an imploding one. So three cheers for a sustainable growing economy rather than a diving one.
The FED will be an interesting narrative in the next few months or years.

Mr. Trump has magic about him. This guy has magic coming out of his ears. He is an astonishing vote getter & campaigner. The Republicans are unbelievably lucky to have him and I’m just awed at how well they’ve done. It’s all the Trump magic - Trump is the magic man. Incredible, he’s got the entire media against him, attacking him every day, and he pulls out these enormous wins
signed...... Donald Trump!
cue the sniggering, knowing laughter from his news media 'friends' last night - I think it was Sky.
They fell for it..... thought Trump was pompously using the third person.
In their earnestness to pander to the caricature Trump has created for himself, they quite willing failed to see the inverted commas.
Oh how he enjoys playing with these eejits............

Haven't done the math proper, but it seems that if you took these votes to be a national election vote, Donald J Trump/generic republican would be first past the post. While losing by nine million votes.

Re: The Trump Presidency
People don't really vote based on the economy (barring a full-blown recession). Obama era created a million more jobs than Trump in his final 21 months than Trump has in his first 20 months, and Hillary lost. Trump then presides over a record-setting/equalling unemployment rate, and the Republicans still got nut stomped in the House vote. The democrats lost a close election in 2000, having lost the House and the Senate in 1998 despite a thriving economy and a budget surplus. If you wanna move further back, Lyndon B. Johnson had literally halved the poverty rate in the United States and he didn't even bother to run for re-election, because Kennedy would likely have stomped him (he quit before the assassination), and Nixon definitely would have. Mostly because of Vietnam, a war he didn't even start.
People voting with their wallets is as big a myth as big foot, and the evidence is just as absent

If life is okay a lot of people vote for the Status quo..
If the Economy is going well more people are doing ok..
Clinton said "It is the Economy stupid"...
Subconsciously or consciously the Economy is the number 1 issue.
Would Corbyn be Labour leader if the UK was doing well back in 2015....He is a protest leader...
If the Economy keeps holding up...The next Election will be close when it shouldn't be with a senile clown in Penn Ave.

Well done to Trump for kicking Acosta out..
When you put stories about Trump and Prostitutes soiling beds on CNN you know aren't true and then have a reporter regularly shout down the President who like him or not holds a position that deserves respect..
You deserve kicking out..
I agree with Gingrich should have been booted out months ago..

Acosta loves the notoriety. Loves it. It places him in the history books.
Journalists have equal egos to politicians (something their constant defenders try to cough off - you know those white suited 'heroes' in war zones)... and Acosta has entered himself into the 'Narrative' of the USA in the beginning of the 2ist Century. There'll hardly be a history book written in the future (if written words survive at all) that concerns President Donald Trump that can now exclude the CNN/Acosta chapter.
Quite an ongoing series of events. Riveting. I'm enjoying the show.
