1. Yes i was overall, Good side to build on however i have done a few domestics since.
2. I know you said not star player but Pedro, i've been chasing him since he got in the league. I think Chiellini or Dani Alves or even Thiago Silva would have been quality for the TM value that they are at. Quality first team players already at a low price.
3. I think I have done well myself but if its down to who has a plan for a squad, i would say Hero.
4. Asensio, mainly because he's not at the correct TM price at the moment and should be worth a lot more so £27m for him is a steal, even if it does leave Hero little money to improve elsewhere in the immediate.
5. In no particular order - Afro, Hero and Marky
6. Yes because i realise what the goal is for the league long term and things like that can put off people in the league or people who want to join the league.
7. Earlier on in the week i would say Trebs is Maggie with the dummy (no offence) but it seems he has moved on now. I'm whatever one cares too much!
8. Not sure, probably Messi

1. Were you happy with the squad you received? Apart from the star player who were you most glad to get in your squad? Getting a worldie like Chiellini is always useful. Aside from him, it was getting some good youngsters like Bruma and Alario

2. Which player from other squads were gutted you missed out on and why? (not star player) Probably Pellegrini - he looks like he is going to be a top, top player

3. Who do you think has done the best domestic business so far in the league? Not really taken enough notice to be able to judge. hero for getting pellegrini is probably all that springs to mind

4. Which foreign transfer were you most impressed with? I actually thought Vardy was great value. Also Goretzska and Belotti - both great players. hero buying Rashford was good, for the laughs alone.

5. What's your prediction for the top three at the end of the season? Hero, Trebs and Marky

7. Which Simpsons characters are the managers in the league? I'm not sure any are like Simpsons characters. I imagine Miky is secretly an alcy and therefore yellow. So he could be any of them.

1. No, I think I've got the worst squad and everyone else has the best. Joking aside, I think it's been done reasonably well.


2. Fellaini was a massive disappointment not to get, and also Cleverley who wasn't put into the league for some reason.
Joking aside, I'm disappointed Tom Cairney has gone to releases, he's a class player who I wanted, Carlos Vela as well would fit my system nicely. Dani Alves is class too.


3. Marky's done one or two decent deals, I think Tino has signed a couple of good youngsters from Twist as well. Perhaps a few more deals required to be sure.


4. Difficult to say as there hasn't been many yet but I would have liked Zappacosta.


5. Not sure, as working out people's line-ups is very difficult, my own included! Hero and Afro tend to be up there, I've got a secret plan for my team which could lead to me being near the top if it's well received. I'll say Olly to spring a surprise.


6. No, I would do the right thing and inform the bossman.

1. Yep I was, I had a few good young players away from the youths that meant my squad should increase in value. I think Ake and Bartra is good example of this and was happy to settle on this CB partnership
2. Henderson if star...just for the craic. But as you said no star players probably one of the Fellini as I knew certain individuals would have chopped their arm off for him in deals.
3. Hard to say really. I still class myself as a novice at this. Trebs got who he wanted hook or by crook so will say him
4. I think Goretzka. I know he is my own but I was really pleased to bag him with Ozil contract stalling. I would say Marky getting Gomes as a youth too.
5. Usual suspects. Not going to inflate anyones ego!

A bit nonplussed by my squad to be honest, I was hoping for some more familiar names. The one I was most glad to get in was Benjamin Henrichs, he'll be a mainstay in my side I reckon.

Thiago Silva is the obvious answer here. I believe I got Federico Fazio as the equivalent, which helps explain why I wish I got Silva

Not a lot to choose from, upon reflection probably Miky getting Vertonghen off of me as he will sure up that defence.

4. Which foreign transfer were you most impressed with?
None have surprised me with their transfers. I'd like to think bringing in Mascherano and Gabriel Jesus would make others take note.

5. What's your prediction for the top three at the end of the season?
Seeing as there's even squads, it'll be the usual suspects when it comes to managers. In no particular order I think the top 3 will be Hero, Trebs and Afro.

Probably. Depends how drastic it was, if it gave me a significant unfair advantage then I'd let on.

They're all Homer Simpson clones.

The footballer that married Michelle Marsh. Just for old times sake. Had a massive crush on her.

Mario Lemina, wouldn't have said that beforehand but then everyone went batsh*t crazy over him. Gomez up front as well as he looks a good prospect.

Pellegrini, made sure I wasn't missing out on him when the opportunity arose.

I'm chuffed with mine certainly to get in Pellegrini, Mere and Locatelli, Afro getting the RB linked with Real was good business but Miky wasn't really robbed getting Lemos in return.

Twist getting in Goretzka, was hoping he wouldn't be picked up by anyone as he's top drawer, Marky getting my savior also irked me.
