Cape-Coat Mysterious Dwarfs v Fußball
- Voter 1:
- Cape-Coat Mysterious Dwarfs v Fußball
Cape-Coat Mysterious Dwarfs Win
Close one, can see Cape-Coat having more joy in general with Boudebouz playing freely behind Silva. If i were Trebs i wouldn't have asked the team to press especially someone like Payet who is more comfortable in attacking phases, the midfield would be fine doing this however.
Cape-Coat feedback - Left side i would say, Halstenberg probably as priority.
Fußball - Need a different option in midfield other than just strong players, need a real creator in there IMO.
- Voter 2:
- Fussball win
Think both sides have strengths over the other but overall Fussball get a narrow win. Midfield battle they physically gain the advantage and in Rashford & Payet they've very strong on the flanks. Going forward though I can also see Dwarfs causing Trebs some damage as not a big fan of Trebs defence. Afro's CB partnership is solid, and the fullbacks are decent but not quite of the same quality as Trebs flanks. If I was Trebs I'd also be looking at improving at LB, once an amazing FB, now a shell of a former legend.
- Voter 3:
- Dwarfs v Fußball
Two similarly strong sides, Fußball in particular very physical in the centre of the park, however with the very strong defence Afro has inherited I feel that it would take a midfield with more creativity than Fellaini and Raul Garcia to break them down, and Payet is out of position at RW to accommodate Rashford at LW.
With the XI Fußball put out, a 4-4-2 diamond would have suited the players better.
Medel
Garcia - Fellaini
Payet
Vietto - Rashford
As it was with Andre Silva upfront against Evans and Reid I see Dwarfs edging it in a tight game.
- Result:
- Cape-Coat Mysterious Dwarfs - Split Win

Kalamazoo Outrage v Shakhtar Senseless
- Voter 1:
- Kalamazoo Outrage v Shakhtar Senseless
Shakhtar Senseless Win
Closest game by far - two veterans going at it. I have to go with Shakhtar here, due to the overall team qualities. Hero can only build a nice squad due to the foundations he has built with Belotti and Asensio although he is selling Belotti, he got a good deal for him and will improve i am sure. Shakhtar have the better overall team here and it has what has made me vote this way. It just goes to show the different styles managers take to build their teams, and there is nothing wrong with it.
Shakhtar feedback - Should work on a LB, I'd also be looking to improve either side of Lallana
Outrage feedback - Could do with another LB/LWB, perhaps as an option, bring in another midfielder who can play even more defensively with this tactic style.
- Voter 2:
- Kalamazoo v Shakhtar
Kalamazoo win - felt that it would be very close, but Kalamazoo would control the midfield due to the extra numbers and the high energy of those players.
Improvement I see next
Kalamazoo - not a lot of experience in midfield and I could see a well drilled team exposing them.
Shakhtar - obvious change would be LB and then RW. A strong side in the making!
- Voter 3:
- Kalamazoo win
I think Silva will be a match for Jesus and Kalamazoo midfield 3 will control proceedings. Asensio gets a lot of joy in his free role.

- Kalamazoo Outrage - Split Win

Deportivo Wanka v Ebbsfleet United
- Voter 1:
- Ebbsfleet win
Impressed so far with Twists return to pretend management. Some excellent purchases made already and tactically it's a good set up, for me Vardy was perhaps a headscratcher of a purchase though but others may feel differently. Nandos team has seen a couple of buys this week which I think it needed, I'd be looking at his centre mid next as it doesn't inspire me and the constant treatment table for what was a fantastic player in Cazorla concerns me.
- Voter 2:
- Deportivo Wanka v Ebbsfleet United
Think the formation let Twist down here - Nando kept it simple but effective with Hazard and Ribiero hitting the wings with crossing into a big unit in Bakambu. Twist has left his side too narrow and this will add to the hurt. I read the bench and saw Pedro on there and i just feel that it's a waste (my personal feelings aside) he should be playing, even if he was playing just behind the 2 up front i feel a wider formation could have saved Twist here.
Deportivo Wanka feedback - Would probably look to replace AM if Penaranda is the main plan there, hes great but we are getting advanced in the league. I would say RB needs work ASAP.
Ebbsfleet feedback - Twist has done well in his first game but just made the wrong formation decision, he needs to work on putting Pedro on the pitch, hes got a big player there who can already slot into quality squads. If i were Twist i would be looking to work my team around him and build on that.
- Voter 3:
- Wanka vs Ebbsfleet
Nice game this with 2 different set-ups, never a fan of one up top, and may well be my ignorance but I've never heard of Bakambu...I like the 5-3-2 gives a solid spine but can lack a bit of width.
Wanka need IMHO a better striker or one I've heard of <laugh>
Ebbsfleet may need to find a way of getting more width into the side but I generally like the balance
Wanka 0-1 Ebbsfleet
Vardy (Ramires)
- Result:
- Ebbsfleet - Split Win

Re: Week 1 Results
Olympique Marswag v Fiorentina Turner
- Voter 1:
- Marswag v Tina turner
Marswag win - another close match up, and I felt that Marswag had more up front to trouble the Tina backline than vice versa
Improvements I see next
Marswag - Gustavo and the left hand side stick out like a sore thumb.
Tina - not convinced about Cutrone leading the line by himself, whilst the CBS can definitely be improved.
- Voter 2:
- Olympique Marswag v Fiorentina Turner
With both lining up 4-2-3-1 and the similar strength of the XI's it was hard to separate these two, it would ordinarily be a draw but I feel that if pushed to name a winner, that the match winning ability of Robben up against Mr Wendell (sing it) would be the difference. Marswag winning a very close game.
Both sides have improvements to make to keep up with other sides in the league but both have made good starts with signings.
Marswag with Gustavo and Tolisso is a midfield that would work very well and I feel that with a new AM they'd have a very strong trio.
Fiorentina need someone to unlock opposition defences in tight games IMO, plenty of pace and power through the side but a more creative AM and or CM would help a lot.
- Voter 3:
- Win = Fiorentina Turner
General feedback - For me with both sides set up in similar formations it comes down to players and tactics. I think overall both sides are fairly even, but I prefer the tactics from Fiorentina Turner who are looking to draw Marswag out and then use their pace in behind. Also have no problem with them targetting a player like Robben, who when hit hard early can cower out of a game. If we were doing scores I'd say 1-0, don't see a lot of goals in this one
Marswag feedback - Not sure why you've told your FBs to sit deep, but then told Zappacosta he can push on...otherwise I think you need to improve your forward 4 players because imo Jose/Deulofeu are not good and Robben can be easy to mark out of a game. Your back line is solid, and I like your CMs. With your CM pairing I'd be tempted to go 2 up front in the future if I were you....
Tina turner feedback - Like the defence think its solid, and you have some playmakers in the attacking areas. Will Jota start for you? If not, he should do when back fit imo. Could probably do with a CB upgrade, but for this match specifically they were fine.
