Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. What advice would you give last week’s opponent?
Controversial question. I would say don't be over reliant on one player because they could get injured. As proved to be the case this week. Strength in depth is crucial. I was one of the first managers to sell my star player and because I did I have gained in other areas.
2. How many world class players are there in the league?
There are a few. 4 or 5. But potentially could be more once real life moves happen to get players more exposure
3. What defines ‘world class player’ to you?
Changes the dynamic of the team so without them they have to play another way. Like Pogba for instance.
4. Is Paul Pogba world class?
Yes
5. Which purchase has surprised you most in recent weeks?
The deal today for Sanson for Conti, considering Contis injury.
6. Which purchase was one that immediately afterwards had you wishing you made it?
Hero getting Thiago. Pretty sure that was a foreign. Oh and Marky getting Jesus.
7. Can Man City match Arsenal’s unbeaten league season?
I don't think so. Can see them slipping up over Xmas
8. Should cards be introduced into the league at some point?
Already take this into account really. If a tactic is to rough another player up then you have to think about possible penalties for that.

1. What advice would you give last week’s opponent?
Not a lot, superior team on paper won with plenty in hand
2. How many world class players are there in the league?
0 - closest for me probably Thiago Silva
3. What defines ‘world class player’ to you?
The 30 man squad I would pick to represent earth vs Mars
4. Is Paul Pogba world class?
Yes (I would have Pogba, Kante, Kroos, Verratti and Thiago as my CM in the above)
5. Which purchase has surprised you most in recent weeks?
On the face of it, selling Laporte for Sule, but makes complete sense as Afro brought in Fabinho and is better off as a whole. None other than that
6. Which purchase was one that immediately afterwards had you wishing you made it?
As soon as I saw Asensio had gone while I was offline I called Hero a rude name
7. Can Man City match Arsenal’s unbeaten league season?
Wouldn't be surprised if they beat it by drawing less games
8. Should cards be introduced into the league at some point?
No

Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. Keep doing what your doing. You are building a good side and your tactics this season have been great. I found it hard to predict what you would do, which made my job much harder.
2. Only ones in that top group of players are Thiago Silva and Iniesta for me.
3. Can change a game by themselves and make the opposition come up with a special plan.
4. No
5. I can't say anyone has really surprised me. Lot of knowledge in the league and people tend to make well informed signings
6. Skriniar is a bargain signing. Would have liked him. And David Silva is a quality signing too.
7. Yes, They look untouchable at the moment. Only one great team has taken points from them this season.
8. Don't need cards, but if someone plays aggressive tactics, then it is reasonable for a voter to think that red cards are a consequence. I think Hero's taking a gun example explains it well.

Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. I don't think I need to give any feedback as Twist is doing fantastically well, in the title hunt and I'm on one win for the season.
2. David Silva and Thiago Silva were world class definitely and I'm sure there could be a separate debate on if they are now. I'm biased, but Casemiro is up there, and there's young players like Asensio, Jesus and others who could be but aren't quite yet.
3. Being World Class is to be in the top three or four in your position. It's a very subjective question, and it does lead to issues as some good players are considered world class because there is a dearth of talent in said position.
4. Pogba has shown flashes of quality. But I think he's over-rated myself. He's a very good player, but I'd swap him for quite a few other CMs at this moment.
Obviously with his young age he may become the best.
5. Tricky one. With the knowledge always increasing, it's getting more and more of a case of going to the Albanian sixth division. One day, we'll all have Fan level knowledge. I do wonder how many people this league would be accessible to.
6. Skriniar for me of the recent signings. I had him in the previous iteration of the league but he wasn't rated, so I deliberately didn't sign him again. He deserves good ratings.
7. They are the best team I've seen. It's ridiculous. But to go a season unbeaten is tough, I'll say that they won't do it because there's so much quality in the Premier League and they will have an off day at some point. Having said that, there's no chance of them missing out on the title.
8. Perhaps as a ceremonial thing, to add a fun factor. But I wouldn't want the LSTD thing of random red cards so teams have to play with ten men or any of that nonsense. I think it's fine for a team to say that to rough up the opposition and the voter should use their own thoughts on where that leads. I once told Suarez to bite the defenders. Didn't lead to a win though.

Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. What advice would you give last week’s opponent?
You're heading in the right direction after an understandable shaky start, once you've offloaded the albatross that is Henderson then you can splurge on a biggie.
2. How many world class players are there in the league?
Silva x2, Iniesta, Buffon 'current' WC, then a plethora of probable future ones.
3. What defines ‘world class player’ to you?
A player that the top teams in the world fight over and that would walk into any of their first team sides.
4. Is Paul Pogba world class?
Yes, name a club in the world currently that if they had the budget wouldn't be interested in him. Real have Modric/Kroos but clearly were still keen on him.
5. Which purchase has surprised you most in recent weeks?
The sale of Laporte raised an eyebrow as I know how much Afro rates him, I then thought he'd have splashed the cash on Koulibaly, Bailly or Manolas etc.
6. Which purchase was one that immediately afterwards had you wishing you made it?
Goretzka & Jesus probably the main ones that springs to mind but there's quite a few others.
7. Can Man City match Arsenal’s unbeaten league season?
I can't see why not, they absolutely bossed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and have walked over other potential challengers so far.
8. Should cards be introduced into the league at some point?
No, but consideration should be used in regards to tactics, not though to the point of a small mention of roughhousing results in a sending off.

The clarification was put into place due to Nando's answers and he will going forward be required to provide better answers.
You were aware of that rule at the time of your responses and therefore have to amend them or not receive the reward.

Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. What advice would you give last week’s opponent?
Keep your head up Tino, no shame in losing to me
2. How many world class players are there in the league?
Maybe one or two, but the cap on signings heavily limits their presence.
3. What defines ‘world class player’ to you?
Someone who wouldn't look out of place in a World XI.
4. Is Paul Pogba world class?
Nope. He's great, all jokes aside, but he isn't quite in that elite bracket. If I picked a World XI i'd have a few others ahead of him at CM.
5. Which purchase has surprised you most in recent weeks?
I can't really think of any that surprised me, the standard is high in these parts.
6. Which purchase was one that immediately afterwards had you wishing you made it?
David Silva. Although he was never an option for me as I never had the cash, him.
7. Can Man City match Arsenal’s unbeaten league season?
I hope so. City are playing beautiful football and I hope they become record breakers. The bigger achievement would be to beat Chelsea's record points haul from 2005.
8. Should cards be introduced into the league at some point?
Yeah, they work okay on JA606 with all 22 players randomised to see who gets the red card, and extra tactics allowed in terms of a "what to do if the red card happens" section. Only one fixture a week has a red card and the red carded player is suspended for the following week.

Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. What advice would you give last week’s opponent? - Nando knows he is good enough for these leagues, think he struggles to get tactics in for Fridays but if he gets them in before he should be fine - He knows how to put teams together and get results in these leagues and his experience speaks for itself.
2. How many world class players are there in the league? - This is a tough one, really for me to name a few world class players - Messi, Ronaldo are definitely up there, Lewandowski is there for me as well but it's all subjective.
3. What defines ‘world class player’ to you? - Someone who is a cut above the rest, out there on his own or in a small group for example the ones i mentioned above.
4. Is Paul Pogba world class? - Not yet but he certainly has the potential to be, he wouldn't have cost so much money if people didn't believe in him to be that good eventually.
5. Which purchase has surprised you most in recent weeks? - Not really any surprises for me, Diaz was a surprising price considering i had my eyes on him for all of this league so far just like Fekir. I should have went for it before thinking about it with both of them. I have been surprised with a lot of Trebs' signings this season so far though.
6. Which purchase was one that immediately afterwards had you wishing you made it? - As stated above, Fekir for definite. I even spoke to Nando before he asked me if i was still going for him and i should have just went for it to be honest.
7. Can Man City match Arsenal’s unbeaten league season? - I think they are capable but its a massive ask to be honest, will be a great feat though if they can.
8. Should cards be introduced into the league at some point? - Potentially but it would need to be controlled so well, i am already thinking of some other control measures for the league anyway especially for controlling TP's in between seasons.

Re: Press Conference Questions Week 7
1. What advice would you give last week’s opponent?
Well played Marky, a thoroughly deserved victory - granted that's not advice but pray-tell how do you advise the better man
2. How many world class players are there in the league?
None, a few former greats and a few who could become greats
3. What defines ‘world class player’ to you?
A player that would be in the top 3-4 in his position in the world, strangely enough
4. Is Paul Pogba world class?
No not yet, but has the skill and physical attributes to get there, plus time is on his side.
5. Which purchase has surprised you most in recent weeks?
I haven't been looking so Im not at liberty to comment. Fekir was a pick I wanted though.
6. Which purchase was one that immediately afterwards had you wishing you made it?
Iniesta would have been lovely as my #10
7. Can Man City match Arsenal’s unbeaten league season?
No, I don't think so - they'll slip up in a game they take too lightly (A burnley,Bournemouth kinda team)
8. Should cards be introduced into the league at some point?
Yes
