Jackman really can't settle on a hooker mind.

Just saw Simon Thomas tweet Leon Brown has suffered a second concussion. If that's so, I wonder if that means the first wasn't really dealt with properly?

Are you sure ? I've read it that he suffered a concussion so he hasn't been picked INCASE he suffers another.

Yes, I watched the whole game. He was better in the second half than he was in the first. He wasn't amazing, but he put in some 'big hits', as they say.

Another blindside being fudged into the second row, as it's a position we just don't have the raw materials to work with. Much the same as Basham, square pegged as he's fast and we have sevens are ten a penny.

As if GDPR wasn't annoying enough, as in I keep getting the privacy notice flash up on my phone even though I've ticked it many times already, this time for some reason it made one of Mikey's posts visible. Still like a chimp throwing it's own sh1te around it's cage I see.

I agree Max Williams would be more effective in the back row.

We well and truly missed the boat on patriating some explosive locks and no 8s. It's a toss up between the thick as sh1te gene and the non-powerful lock and no 8 gene for the title of most lamentable Welsh DNA attribute

Apparently Dragons new kit sponsor is VX-3. Having saw that on FB, I looked at some of their kits they do and they can either be plain or some loud ones. I look forward to seeing what we get.

Having worn some of their tshirts with Raiders 7s, I quite liked that and seeing some of the Worcester merchandise yesterday looked ok too, so fingers crossed it's better than most of the Gilbert stuff if it's true.

Yes yes yes but will it invoke the image of dragon scales, whilst tipping a head to the lamellar plate armour of the Roman legionnaire marching on the ancient fortress of Isca?

Based in Llanelli, they are making Worcester's new kit - I've seen their training gear and their Help for Heroes shirts and they are tidy.

On one of the supporters' groups. Nothing official obviously, but seems to be a few people saying it too.

Dragons tweet with sponsor's logo hidden (by folding) on their training gear might suggest something will be announced imminently.

Perhaps he should concentrate on 7, it would be good to have that option there with Griffiths.

Anyone know why Cardiff people, AKA fans of Gareth Anscombe, keep going online and saying Amos isn't international quality?

I see we've offloaded Charlie Davies to Northampton, it's a shame we couldn't also give them Knoyle.

Looks like we'll be losing Dee, Hill and Amos fairly regularly to Wales after their performances over the past season.

My daughter’s school sports day was at Rodney Parade on Tuesday. Have to say the pitch looked amazing from where I was stood. The kids weren’t allowed on the main pitch as it had just been treated/seeded (Sports day was on the fake grass behind the in-goal area at the north terrace end instead).

Amazing what a couple of weeks with no games on the pitch can do! Clearly 3 teams is too much even for a hybrid pitch to cope with, but it seems it can be restored pretty quickly afterwards.

Yeah, our school hasn't got any grass or fields.  All concrete!  They used to walk to another school to use their field for sports day but all the parents parking around the school caused mayhem and complaints.  So much better at RP, and the kids were all like 'wow, look at this!' so the motivation and aspiration element of sports participation was increased.  And the mums got to swoon at a few of the players milling around in their kit (not sure what they were doing there as they train in Ystrad. Treatment maybe)!  I think on one of the parents has a link to the Dragons/Newport RFC/County/RP somehow.  Good PR though and nice community angle, as you say.

Dragons are grouped with Clermont Auvergne, Northampton and Romanian side Timisoara Saracens in Pool 1.

Pretty happy with this, from a places I'd be interested in going point of view. I have always wanted to go to Clermont, but assumed we would have to qualify for the top tier so this is great. Always wanted to go to the Gardens too and I suspect Romania might not be too tight on the purse strings for beer.

Moriarty gets a 4 week ban - he could do with a rest anyway Very Happy

He'll miss our pre season games and opening game.

I think seeing as Clermont was the dream, I’ll have to wait a bit for Romania. Don’t want to push my luck, cheap or not. There is a direct flight from UK apparently with some company I’d never heard of.

4 game ban really then. Fair enough for what it was, in my opinion.

I still don't think Moriarty did much wrong, he defended himself. I might be biased. Two argies and a waterboy who struck to the face getting off mind. Wales have had their worst luck with ref's and the TMO this year.

I'm not sure that is a group we can progress from, although Saints are rebuilding their squad it happens to be with some very good incoming players and coaches. I don't feel I need to say much about Clermont, strange to see them down in the 2nd tier comp.

I can't see us going through. On the other hand, if they take it seriously, it's a great chance to see Clermont at Rodney Parade. Have they ever visited before?

Was it Clermont we played before in a Euro 1/4 or semi a number of years back out in France? A really high scoring game. Something like 45-30. A hot and sunny game with some great backs tries including a good one from Ales Brew I think.
