Week 16 Results
Fiorentina Turner v Deportivo Moron
- Voter 1:
- Fiorentina Turner v Deportivo Moron
Hard to call, not sure Moron can rely on their pace like is implied, I feel the Fiorentina defence is strong and also not the slowest in the world either. No real issues with either side, purely comes down to personal preference, especially when both sides play the same formation. I think the game was won with the wingbacks, not a lot between Wendell and Henrichs, but I feel Alves roasts Gaya too often and it's the (somewhat picky) difference today.
Fiorentina win.
- Voter 2 :
- Turner v Moron - WIN for Moron
The case of an the immovable object and the unstoppable force - Moron's defence is better than Turner, but equally Turner's attack is better than Moron's. Whereas usually you would go for the better forward line, I think the midfield of Moron does give it an edge. Dolberg occupying the CB's allows Moron's other attacking players to come into the game and I cannot see Turner's midfield two stopping that - especially one is playing box-to-box and the other might be past his best. The subs do not rectify it either. Great game of football to watch with the way both teams have shaped up. Turner will have less chances but more chance to put them away and Moron will have more chances but will squander some due to their forward line. I think of balance though, Moron is more likely to get the goals it needs to win.
- Voter 3:
- Turner v Moron
I like the plan from Tino here can see them doing well in this game however Moron are just too strong for them i think. Can see a player like Dolberg having some joy with support from Guedes and Coman. Its a big matchup but as i say, Moron win for me.
- Result:
- Moron - Split

Ebbsfleet United v Olympique Marswag
- Voter 1:
- Ebbsfleet v Marswag - Marswag win - Feedback to come from Afro (unwell)
- Voter 2 :
- Ebbsfleet United v Olympique Marswag
I'm not sure if injuries made a big difference or not, but Ebbsfleet look weak in attack here. Diabate, Pellegri and Tosun have each done nothing since moving to their new clubs and I feel Twist needs them to actually deliver before he relies on them in tight games. Marswag definitely suit their formation, I feel they have the back three to nullify Ebbsfleet, Fernandinho in front of them would make it even harder for Goretzka to create opportunities, and Immobile is still on top form so despite the solid Ebbsfleet defence I feel Immobile would take the one golden chance he gets.
Marswag win.
- Voter 3:
- Ebbsfleet vs Marswag - Marswag
+ Midfield 2
- Cedric > Pellegri
- Neres > Diabate
- Full Backs need upgrading
+ Formations suits the team
- Need a better replacement CM then Coric
- Meunier > Zappacosta
- Thauvin still not a LW
- Result:
- Marswag unanimous

Re: Week 16 Results
Shakhtar Senseless v Deportivo Wanka
- Voter 1:
- I do like Deportivo Wanka's fluid attack but I do think they'd have been better served with an out and out striker to bully the weakened defense of Shakhtar. As it happens, the home side have the men in midfield to make it work for them defensively, I think they'd be alright. I like Sabitzer and Augustin stretching out the Wanka defense but I can see Dzeko struggling against the three physical centre backs. Both teams could have done with a bit more specifics in their tactics regarding the other team. I'm going to give Shakhtar the win but it's a tight one, as on a normal prediction I'd go for an entertaining 0-0.
- Voter 2 :
- Shahktar v Wanka - Wanka win - Feedback to come (Afro unwell)
- Voter 3:
- Wanka v Shakhtar
On reflection a trickier game to call than I thought it would be. Nandos team is actually pretty decent, on paper I'd say it's better than Markys but Markys 200 words put across more. I can see Marky having a lot more possession in the game but Nandos team making more of the chances he gets, Fekir and Lozano combined is a lovely pairing. Overall a narrow Wanka win.
- Result:
- Wanka Split

Cape-Coast Mysterious Dwarfs v Kalamazoo Outrage
- Voter 1:
- Outrage Win - Feedback to come from Tino
- Voter 2 :
- There's obviously a few players in both sides who have been picked to satisfy the youth quote. Foden, for instance, while he might be a great prospect there's no way we can say he's good enough. And obviously the same with Kenny and Geiger.
If Cape-Coast are going for it, then I'd like to see a more aggressive XI, Iniesta at CM with an AM. Do like them being aggressive though.
Kalamazoo have split their bets and gone either way with their tactics, but for me there isn't enough of a gameplan either way. I can see the Kalamazoo front three causing significant issues for the Cape-Coast backline. So this leaves me with a dilemma, because I do like Cape-Coast going for it and I think an extra CM would have served Kalamazoo better than the three at the back.
I'm going to give Kalamazoo the win, because Cape-Coast have brought in more youngsters and I'm not sure Iniesta AM suits their system.
- Voter 3:
- Cape-Coast Mysterious Dwarfs v Kalamazoo Outrage
An extremely close game between two very strong sides.
Not sure about Aouar on the wing and Iniesta in behind, for me Iniesta should be playing from deep. I love the fact that Afro has Reus and Jesus. I can see Hero's side edging this one with the front 3 as deadly as they are, they will really test the back four from Afro who i feel like has put out a slightly weaker side.
- Result:
- Kalamazoo Unanimous
