Fussball v Deportivo Moron
- Voter 1:
- Fussball vs Moron
Trebs has really worked on his side and they seem to have a really nice balance about them now, he’s always been there or thereabouts tactically, so he’d going into season 2 strongly. The only player I’m not really sure on is Caricol, but that could be my ignorance rather than him not being good enough.
Moron are a work in progress, I liked the 3 at the back and the 4 across the middle..just question marks over the front free for me, Guedes looks a prospect from the little I’ve seen, Coman for me I don’t get the hype – didn’t at Juve and still don’t now. Dolberg is still young but needs to prove himself at a higher level.
With all that in mind, I just feel Treb’s side is that bit further down the path at the moment so would lean towards a Fussball win
- Voter 2:
- Fussball vs Moron - Moron win
Tough game to decide this one, both teams have undeniable quality throughout their sides and both sets of tactics are very good. I give Moron the edge because I think they've identified attacking the weaker Fussball FBs well, and their width gives them plenty of success. It also does open them up a bit with Fussball having some success, but I think the Moron defence just has more about it to hold enough to give them the win.
- Voter 3:
- Fussball v Moron - Fussball Win
Tough game to call as they all are in this league however i do feel both teams have honestly set up so well. I think though that with Trebs opting to press will put off Bam's side and the likes of Batshuayi will thrive off this, unfortunately for Bam im going to give Trebs the win.
- Result:
- Fussball split

SAS V Olympique Marswag
- Voter 1:
- SAS v Marswag - WIN for Marswag
I think playing to a high line plays into Marswag's hands with the quality of their WB's. SAS tactics don't really amount to a great deal and more should have been made to combat it. Marswag definitely miss Immobile but have combated it well by getting their other attacking players into the game.
- Voter 2:
- SAS vs Marswag
Olly returns to the dugout after serving time on the naughty step, I really like his front-four and they will take him into next season with decent firepower.
I like Amadou a lot, but the kids getting very little pitch time at the moment to show his worth, not saying get rid, just a shame as his ratings will surely drop without the exposure, Lemina is looking very good in a poor Saints team – my only thought is, is the two of team too much?
I have no idea who your right-back is, but your left-back seemed to be doing well enough prior to injury.
Marswag
I like the back-three, think Azpi has a claim on being the best CB in the prem, and the other 2 have huge potential…Alba’s pace is in my opinion his only asset but what an asset to have. The 2 CM’s are good solid picks, but there’s no spark there. For me I’d drop one and bring in a proper play-maker. You have 3 at the back, one DM is more than enough.
Also I know Immobile is injured so you had to play LLorente, but think his sluggishness is more hindrance than help in that set-up, your wide-men bring pace to turn a defence, BUT then have to wait for that lump to catch up, thus losing the impetus.
Home win, for me
- Voter 3:
- Marswag vs SAS - SAS
Close game think Olly's side will just pinch a victory think his defense is more likely to hold out then Marswag over 90 mins with Robben/Thauvin inside

- SAS Split Win

Ebbsfleet United v Kalamazoo Outrage
- Voter 1:
- Ebbsfleet vs Kalamazoo
Not the usual level of feedback here - but Ebbsfleet's false nine tactics are clever, and add to the fact that Kalamazoo have played a second string then there's only one way this can go.
Ebbsfleet win.
- Voter 2:
- Ebbsfleet v Outrage
Ebbsfleet went strong, albeit with a False 9, against Outrage who went full "titles in the bag lads" with the younger players, which for me gave Ebbsfleet the advantage until Outrage casually chucked on Asensio, Dembele and Werner at the end! Taking Ebbsfleet's gameplan on merit, I'm not convinced it works with Silva as a False 9, not in his older years anyway. It missed a real centre forward making runs infield and I think while Ebbsfleet would dominate the game, nobody was really taking the chances only for Outrage to make their treble change and steal the undeserved win.
- Voter 3:
- Ebbsfleet v Outrage
This for me is a clear Ebbsfleet win. I can see that Hero has tried to blood his youngsters ahead of season 2, and has done some good tactics to compensate for the lower standard of player. However, I think Twist has matched up to him tactics wise and his side is just too strong for the Kalamazoo second string.
Ebbsfleet
+ Skriniar is a good signing and definitely a big improvement
+ Plenty of goals from the wingers - wish I'd signed Willian myself!
- Torreira and Dendonker is a bit lightweight for me, and Dendonker has a lot to prove - Belgian league isn't a good guide to ability for me
Outrage
+ Well thought out tactics, and with a stronger XI would have walked it
+ Like the Goretzka signing (although not 100% sure about him and SMS together)
- Your team, and defence in particular, is significantly weakened by fielding the youngsters. Not sure how much this reflects you backup, but strength in depth could be an issue.

- Ebbsfleet Split

Shakhtar Senseless v Cape-Coast Mysterious Dwarfs
- Voter 1:
- Shakthar vs Cape Coast - Shahktar win
Another really tough game to call this one, although I think Dwarfs injuries probably just mean Shakhtar get the edge in this one, I think they miss Alonso and Fabinho greatly in their XI. I think it's only a 1-0 type of game because I like both defences against the opponents attack, but I think Sabitzer has a very good game and grabs the win in this one
- Voter 2:
- Shakhtar vs Dwarfs
Tricky game to call this. I think Dzeko would get the better of Konate, they should have Chiellini man-marking him. Shakhtar have a couple of midfielders who for me are not up to scratch, but obviously having the likes of Gundogan makes up for it. I think the Shakhtar defense could deal with Jesus.
Shakhtar win.
- Voter 3:
- Cape Coast vs Shakhtar
Both sides looking to press and win the ball high up the pitch, and have the ball winners to do so. Chalobah and Geiger both cancel each other out as relative weaknesses in their sides, otherwise I can see some very snappy passing and movement for both which will counter the press well. Shakhtar look stronger defensively to me, but the Dwarfs attack looks very strong with Iniesta getting up in support. I just think the Dwarfs have a little too much going forward with the likes of Jesus, Reus and Aouar, and they'll win this in a very watchable game
- Result:
- Shakhtar split
