Thanks - we could have easily much it a top 10 with the number of great matches involving these 3 but we only want it to be an hour long show

Just checked the stats and its the Americans who aren't voting for Austin - Rock 2 - if it just based on British Votes it would be in 4th place.

5. vs Ric Flair WM8
Savage was at the end of his glory years by this point but he could still dance and I loved the psychology in his matches with Flair, it had everything and loved how he managed to beat Flair by playing dirty, very unusual for a babyface in those days

4. vs The Ultimate Warrior Steel Cage Match 1989
Underrated classic of both men, Warrior was always at his best when in the ring with a teacher, they had a number of Steel Cage matches pre-WM5 so can't pin point what one exactly this would be but they had everything and even though I watched it in hindsight, probably in 92ish, you could see Savage was schooling Warrior for a future rivalry

3. vs Hulk Hogan WM5
The match that was a year in the making, a year long storyline culminating in Savage losing his title to Hogan, I'm still not quite sure why Savage was the heel in all this and why Elizabeth didn't take his side fully, I think his jealousy in this angle was actually justified

2. vs Ricky Steamboat
Widely regarded by many purists as the best wrestling match jn WrestleMania history, I liked it but was never as big on it as others, it was a tremendous platform though and showed Vince that both guys were ready for the Main Event if they could've had an opportunity

1. vs The Ultimate Warrior WM7
If I could only watch one match ever again it would be this one, I was only 9 and fully bought into the angle at that time and it triggered emotions in me that kept this match in a League of its own, the pace of the match, the style of it, the pyschology involved, it had absolutely everything and then to top it all off, his one true love came to his rescue afyer he lost everything, that should've been for the WWF Title.
