Injuries in FIFA games

As someone that plays fifa alot their injury system is overkill im not prepared to take part with it in place.

What would you deem as overkill?

I say no. If someone goes off in that game then they're replaced, but we should stick with our injury setup in the league and just have those players ineligible for the gameweek.

We can all have a squad of 25 and Fifa only needs 18, so it's not a big deal.

How about injuries actually just not occurring in game?
I can turn that off completely so would people prefer that?

I'm fine with them occurring in game, that's just a strength of squad depth.

Just don't think they should have any impact on future games

im easy on as to how they're implemented, but in-game injuries and red cards will make it pretty interesting

I prefer it turned off. When we did feedback we based the teams on their merits not on the off chance that an injury would occur that would tip the balance (although I tried to get the GK injured a few times due to lack of sub!)

I think that's what it should be in FIFA. I know having it is more realistic but I feel it should be 11 v 11 with the tactics employed and no outside influences that could have an impact.

I do see the need for a depth in squad argument but I can just imagine the grumblings if we leave it up to Fifa.

I say injuries picked as normal and no injuries in game. Only I add, to stop possible arguments. Realistic is fine by me.

The idea behind using FIFA was to find a less subjective way to generate results. It needs to be a straight replacement for voting.

Having in game injuries, and also using the injuries/cards for the following week is step further than this which I don’t think we should take.

I voted no, for similar reasons as above for example, lets keep the full teams out there hence why i would like them turned off in game as well if its not too much effort.

All turned off now as are cards.
My personal preference was that all injuries/suspensions were done through FIFA but it's not something that I'm overly precious on.

I'd keep both on personally, but have it so that injuries are equal to all.

So if we agree four injuries per gameweek, and you get two in a game, then you'd only get two random injuries.
If you get no injuries on fifa, then you'd get four injuries drawn.
