Chiefs v Sarries, THE FINAL
Can't believe there isn't a match thread, so here it is 3-12 35 min gone so far, too easy for Sarries

Sarries had a quite a few chances to extend their lead even more in the 2nd quarter but couldn't finish them - Exeter on the other hand haven't looked like getting close since the first 10 mins ...

I watched the euro final again this morning and a certain Mr Barnes was penalising tackles which he is letting go today, WHY.

New rule, if you're an England international you can knock on.

I'm putting your comment on file Tight for future reference when next the auld Irish fans start moaning about Barnes' weird ways with the interpretations.

Re: Chiefs v Sarries, THE FINAL
As a neutral, the end of season climax has been a bit flat, because the winners of the two semis and the final were clear early on in all three matches.
From an England perspective, it was good to see a lot of the Saracens players looking on top form. It was similarly disappointing that no Exeter player was really able to make a mark on the game. Slade's missed touchfinder seemed to be the catalyst for Saracens to switch gears for the rest of the half. Cowan Dickie made a couple of high profile errors, and Steenson looked more effective than Joe Simmons, who has otherwise had a good season.
