Katie Taylor's Father Shot

He was shot in his gym in Ireland this morning just before 7 am, two others were shot and one of them was killed. It appears to be in relation to an ongoing feud involving gangs in Dublin but also involves Matthew Macklin's MTK (formerly MGM promotional company). Taylor's father is training several Irish MTK fighters.

There was someone shot dead at a weigh-in at a Dublin fight a few years back as part of the same feud and this is also the same feud that caused Jamie Moore to be shot in a case of mistaken identity.

Carl Frampton, Michael Conlon and Fury are all with MTK now.

What a horrible thing to happen.

I genuinely don't understand how a feud gets so bad that lives are taken. My thoughts are with the injured and all families concerned.
