SURREY VS GLAMORGAN ROYAL LONDON CUP
Sam Curran has returned to the 14 man Surrey squad for Wednesday’s must-win Royal London One-Day Cup match with Glamorgan at the Kia Oval.
He replaces Mat Pillans, who is with the 2nd XI at Warwickshire in the only change to the squad from the Middlesex game.
FULL SQUAD
Rory Burns (captain)
Gareth Batty
Scott Borthwick
Rikki Clarke
Sam Curran
Tom Curran
Jade Dernbach
Ben Foakes
Will Jacks
Morne Morkel
Ollie Pope
Jason Roy
Mark Stoneman
Freddie van den Bergh
Why the burger van keeps getting named in the squad is beyond me he will never get picked.
Maybe Borthwick and Dernbach to miss out as well though Jacks might lose out to Borthwick.
very hard to call this
Over to you chaps

Thanks, JimBob. Maybe the same team as Sunday apart from Sam coming in for Jade?

Well that was rather silly to let TC bowl 10 overs

With just 5 bowlers used, who could have sent down some instead?

Re: SURREY VS GLAMORGAN ROYAL LONDON CUP
Jacks would have been the option to use as the 6th bowler - he's bowled a few overs in recent matches in this competition.
Overall, a very efficient win for Surrey with plenty of overs to spare. Good to see younger batsmen Jacks, Pope and Sam Curran all doing well. Have to feel sorry for Borthwick who didn't really deserve to get dropped - Stoneman's terrible run of form continuing. Obviously the damage was done earlier in the competition with two dire performances plus a very poor one. So we didn't deserve to go through to the next stages. The heavily negative goal difference - despite having won more matches than we lost - tells the story of matches where Surrey imploded.

To not have quarter finals in this competition is stupid
this needs to be sorted out and it's not sour grapes as we finished 5th so wouldn't have qualified anyway

Technically there are two 1/4 finals. Not sure about the thinking behind that but better than a few years ago when it was straight to semis with too many dead rubbers.
