First topic message reminder :
Kwini, you have very high standards. I seem to remember you thought Lexi was a bit of a minger.

She's a weird looking bird, more a bogey I'd say.

It's Susan Calman on Saturday Kitchen.
Easy mistake to make.
They all look the same innit!

Just seen your post Super. Fair enough, sounds about right I guess. Christ knows who the next Tory leader will be, Im increasingly frustrated/annoyed by/despise every leading politician right now, including Corbyn.

Off to the darts in Brighton tonight. Top night out, loads of banter in the crowd. If you see a bloke in the crowd in a multi coloured Mohican wig with a girl in a pink wig...that’s me and Mrs Digs. Classy!

It should have been! PUP
The good and the bad of Eric Lamela inside ten minutes at Brighton. Lovely goal followed by a backhand in the mouth. One of the niggliest, dirtiest toerags, but sometimes quite brilliant. Wish someone would properly take him out though.

Potato pothato Super. Think I watched the entire series of Strictly thinking she was Ruth Davison. I have no interest whatsoever in any comedians.

Never understood that expression, everyone calls a potato a potato, no one has ever called a potato a po-tah-to.
That's a rather candid admission isn't it Diggers? you don't like comedians, but you like Strictly?

I don’t like Strictly that much but my family does. Just get annoyed by the plethora of comedians and countless panel shows, so tend to avoid them. Prefer situation comedy in tv shows or films.

I would say tomatoe though !
I don't get the darts crowd thing theres no way you can see the darts hitting the board from any distance - not with my eyes anyway.
So bad yesterday I hit a shot up 17 and thought it was in the right bunker .Walked up and found the ball a couple of feet outside so well pleased.Nice chip on holed out for a three and found it wasn't my ball,My ball was in the trap not 8 feet from the ball I had played ?.
Enjoy the Ryyyyyyder cup folks.

There is a big screen in both sides of the board so you can see the darts land, to be honest though I barely watched any of it, it’s just background entertainment while you chat and drink with people.

I understand that Diggers, most "comedians" have a very short shelf life, but seem to hang around much longer than their sell by date, some of them never had it to begin with, i.e. Russel Brand, perhaps the worst comedian of all time, but just won't eff off.

Did anyone see John McGinn's goal for Villa against Wednesday? If that had been Messi, Ronaldo, Kane, Modric etc they'd be tossing it for a decade.

Mac, again showing that you know nothing about football. Take a look at the goal scored by Pavard. It was similar to that, his goal was the best goal at the World Cup, but McGinn's was further out. Great technique.

Jimmy Carr, a classic example of someone that one day decided he was funny. Can't understand how he's made a career out of it.

In other football news, Foden puts on a little masterclass in the league cup. Might be against Oxford but he was the best player on the pitch in a team full of superstar. The kid is going to be very, very good.

When he asks me in a couple of years I shall respond "Yes, I'll have fries with that"
Only joking. Read he was superb in that game and that Pep wants him to come through and it sounds like he'll get the chance. Just hope he's patient enough and the chances are for long enough and often enough. Wonder if he'd learn more training for hours a day with that squad or going on loan (in the prem or Spain/Italy/Germany) and playing once/twice a week against other top flight sides.

It's a fair point though RC, relating to hunger to succeed for young kids. He should already never need to work in a fast food joint, he's been on £20k a week for over a year and I think that contract might now be £40k for being part of the City first team squad. Apparently, he lives for the game, is a brilliant trainer and just has a desire to succeed (and he's a City fan). But you can see how it's not quite the same as being an apprentice back in the day, cleaning boots and waiting to get a deal that is enough to buy you a second hand car.

Was quality super.
Agree if it had been Ronaldo messi they would be banging on about it for some time.
McGinn is a quality player. World class goal, shame about the result.
Bruce can’t have much longer. The football is dire. Good squad for the championship to

Glad you dislike him too Mac.
I think his company is really under fire now from companies who actually know how to make cars. Tesla has never made a penny, and now Jaguar, Mercedes, Audi and BMW all have better electric cars out why would anyone buy an overpriced Tesla?
Would imagine they might stick to supplying batteries.

He just seems to be the epitome of a charleton. I see someones opinion of Musk as a barometer of whether or not they have grasped even the basics of skepticism.
