Welcome to the new league year in the 606v2 Central Fantasy League

Everyone who responded was able to do the 29th August, so as such, the league draft will be taking place that night at 8.30pm UK time. The draft order has been posted in the main thread and was set by NFL.com via it's randomiser

Accordingly I was not going to follow up Lowland Brit's idea about an offline draft at this stage as I expect the live draft will give a more balanced team set.

There is still technically one place available in this league. If anyone not in the league would like to run a team then just give me a shout and a PM with your NFL.com email address

I missed the whole draft; worked late. Somehow I still ended up with Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Keenan Allen and the Jags D. OTOH I have Poopie RB's and Dez Bryant!

Up for deals on a RB and probably a TE. Olsen is probably good but I got not #2 TE and some how an FA WR unlikely to be with a team before week 1 at the earliest (if ever; Bryant now is NOT Bryant2-3 years ago).

Poor sod, seems like he had a chance to break out with the 49ers this year.

I've been avoiding him like the plague in fantasy, and actively targeting Matt Brieda, because I felt he was massively risky this year in terms of points output...

Big Ben at home definitely - more likely to be a shootout imo

Yeah, it does depend which Miami D turns up but I get that the Falcons have been consistently bad.

Anyone interested in a trade of a good RB for Keenan Allen? I need a consistent scorer alongside Conner (especially if Bell does eventually play) and I think I'll have enough to get points out of my other guys that I can spare Allen.

I have to admit I had a chuckle at TM Moot for picking up Cooper Kupp with a bid of 64 points, then realising he was out with an ACL and dropping him for Dede Westbrook for free.

Thanks Dave .. was not expecting to win this one as the top seeds looked very strong! Coupled with the dynasty league win, its been a very successful fantasy season for me

Talking of the dynasty league .. we need a manager to take over from a 6 fingered, potato headed lad from Norwich who has decimated a roster in the v2 dynasty league. It will be a challenge, but if you fancy your hand at a bigger recovery than the Browns, then give me a shout or post on the dynasty league page ..
