NZs promising player Karl T no match for Furlong at the moment. Theres some definite journeymen carriers in the Irish side. Earls, Ringrose, Kearney. All little impact on the ball. Compare with stockdale, vdf, furlong, instant power meters.

Ireland have done an awful lot of attacking for low gain. Second half needs to be different for both.

Just got done on the last one. Karl T will have corrected against Furlong. Expected that.

I wanted to, but thought you might find that a little pedantic.

Pity we haven't made it count on the board but still happy enough with that half, lineout and scrum really good but a little dodgy under the high ball .

Expect a Barnes card pretty early next half.

The score is definitely the fear. The fact that Barrett DG rather than try a run might hopefully mean they will kick rather than run. Doubt it though, think Ireland might have a lapse and it will cost them

Ireland can win this if theyre allowed to do what theyve been doing for the next forty, retain possession, make the ABs tackle and pressure them into penalties.

Second halves dont tend to retain that sort of structure as bodies tire and gaps come.

Bench use is critical.

So far, this is a defensive masterclass from the Irish.

Great defence but Ireland definitely showing signs of fatigue. Only way ABs are going to break through is to keep piling on the pressure.

Hi doc, yep, Ireland pressure is causing all sorts of trouble. Second level defence is turning up where we donr see it as often.

Scrim and lineout are starting to crack but as I said before the match its the defence that concerns, and thats remained consistent. ABs cant crack it.
