Ireland players by age
Here are the Irish players by age. There is a good spread across all team while the youngest team looks fairly strong. I had to bring some players back to fill spots hope you don't mind.
If you take it that alot of the 29+ age players this is their last world cup while 2023 will be the 26-28 last stand followed by 2027 should be made up of the u26s
What areas do you think each team is strongest. The 29+ looks very strong but no number 8 or winger near the Irish squad. Think it is the strongest team while I think the u26s are the second strongest.
While we are strong in the front row they are all older on the loose head and hooker positions which is a worry. As the tight head side shows front rowers don't need to be late 20s to break through. The rest of the teams have good players in all positions and would have a strong bench aswell.
Front row
29+ Healy, Best, J Ryan (1st)
26-28 ?, Herring, Furlong (2nd)
U26 ?,?, Porter (3rd)
2nd Row
29+ Toner, D Ryan (1st)
26-28 Henderson, Bernie (2nd)
U26 J Ryan, Dillane (3rd)
Back Row
29+ POM, SOB, Copeland (3rd)
26-28 Stander, Murphy, Conan (1st)
U26 Leavy, VDF, Deegan (2nd)
Half Backs
29+ Murray, Sexton (1st)
26-28 Marmion, Jackson (3rd)
U26 L McGrath, Carbery (2nd)
Centres
29+ Cave, McFadden(3rd)
26-29 Ali, McCloskey (2nd)
U26 Henshaw, Ringrose (1st)
Back 3 (hard to pick the best one)
29+ M Healy, Earls, Kearney (3rd)
26-28 Zebo, Conway, Addison (2nd)
U26 Stockdale, Sweetnam, Lamour (1st)
Short a few players so suggest away I was sure who would be top dog for missing spot as no one in squad, if I have people in incorrect positions let me know and I can adjust. Feel free to suggest bench players aswell I think that is where we start to see how many young players are coming through.

You haven't explained what you're trying to achieve or illustrate, Brendan. Maybe you can add in some sentences on your thinking.
