Everything going against Scotland since they got three points. Losing Hogg is a massive blow.

Anyone just see Itoje there, clapping a Scotland knockon in the 22? Or can we now admit that other players do it too?

Of course other players do it. Just because others do it doesn't mean he's not a bell*** who refers to himself in the third person.

Big 6 wee 7. Obviously thought we could have them when they weren't looking. 20/20 hindsight and all that. We're going to need to try things to win this.

Great to see some of the running rugby Scotland are putting together even if there was a forward pass leading to Kinghorn's break

It's bad decision making though - they were totally set up to defend it. Taps need to be a surprise

Pity for Scotland they didn't use the TMO on Ireland's first try.

Ireland just about deserving the lead, maybe not as much as 9 points, though. Key injuries to both leaves a nice balance for the remainder.

Great to watch a Scotland team full of invention and flair. At 3-12, Ireland were dominant and in complete control - after the intercept and world-class pass on the floor, it's all Scotland again.

Re: 6N 2019: Scotland v Ireland, 9 February
Probably a silly thing to get annoyed about but the BBC keep referring to Sam Johnson as "the Australian born centre" as if that means something.
Not exactly going to be hearing about the Wellington born, Welsh raised Mako Vunipola are we. (Not a dig at Mako, just the first one that came to my mind) Again, silly thing to be getting upset at, but still.

It is annoying and just an attempt to stir the pot and discredit someone's performance with a caveat, imo.

Immense discipline and defence from the Irish. Two points in it. Great game.

I think it's meant to add a bit of colour to the commentary rather than be a dig. If they keep repeating it, it is probably because they only have the one fact about him!
Felt Scotland should have looked to line up a drop goal there. Felt that before the knock on. Just felt with the match situation and the clock, after they didn't score after 20 phases it might be better to go in ahead.
Re: 6N 2019: Scotland v Ireland, 9 February
Not actually noticed it, was it Butler?
Tbh they could mention 7 of the 8 centres playing for B&I teams this round.

Is this going to be your thing now? Like Jimbo's stories and Tattie's pretending Edinburgh are a good side.

All the 'late' challenges look worse in slo-mo but only the one on Hogg stood any chance of being penalised, and more for no arms than anything.
Sexton passes so late, as a tactic to open up space, that opponents are already committed before he releases.
