Try accepting that refs are human, mistakes will happen, and it's just at a game (for us any way)

It was not just Nick Williams at the time though was it, it was the ethos of the Ulster side during that era. Also, for the record, I still think he is a liability, and a dirty player.

So Ulster's ethos was to be dirty?

Oh, here we go. No not necessarily. But they were giving themselves a bit of a reputation at that time.

You mean when they were winning the leagues Fair Play Award?

It's only facts when it suits you lot though.

RugbyFan100 has presented many facts on this very thread, yet you all decide to dismiss them.

No actually he presented a load of gifs and added his own commentary, rugby has laws instead of rules because they are open to interpretation meaning it's opinion on individual reading of the laws not fact. The fact is that someone trained in implementing and interpreting said laws disagreed with him but he's apparently incompetent but an angry individual with a keyboard and no training is better placed to decide he is wrong. Rolling Eyes

It's almost as if they are unaware that the ref "is the sole arbiter of fact " as written in the laws of rugby.

Fact is Ulster won the fair play award on more than one occasion in that time.

That is Fact.

Sorry LD but you truly are blinkered beyond belief.

I'm not debating that though. Yes Ulster are different now, but at one time, they did have a reputation for causing a little needle when they played. Sheesh.

Yeah we're all fans of the Pro14 and we're free to discuss the inability of ref's in our league. Somehow you have trouble getting it? Poite is terrible when he ref's Wales, not sure about anyone else.

Because the topic was discussing inept refs in the Pro14, when you and some Irish started slagging Welsh teams. So again I've no idea why you decided to turn up and talk utter sh**e? You're not a fan of any team in the league either, and you've not really added anything of note to this topic.

Not really slagging them off Mikey. But it's the driving force behind rugby fan being annoyed at the league. I've actually talked on the point but after seeing his other threads you'd agree his agenda is one of complaining in a rather one eyed manner wouldn't you?
And there is a tendency for some people to simply back their nation and their clubs no matter what. See past it.

You and others were putting in petty jibes, it's completely unnecessary. Nobody is more aware of the state of our teams than us. I can't see how as Rugby Fan doesn't support Kings. And I'm not sure if he's one-eyed, I don't know the guy. Perhaps another fan driven to breaking point by both the Pro14 refs and welsh clubs/regions being run into the ground?

The fact that we can discuss the Pro14 refs. Your posts would indicate you have issues with people discussing it, and then you try and sweep it under the rug by suggesting it's normality. Whilst it might be a more common trend than we believe, it is in no way acceptable - yep we can say that regardless of whether or not you get upset Smile.

Some reading lessons might be advisable then because if you could do it to a decent level you would see me discussing the matter and pointing out there are issues but that some people like to discuss it in black and white terms and not see the full picture or grasp the context of the issues and rather like to talk about as if someone is getting away with something.

One of the original posts over a Munster player going off his feet I clearly said some refs might give it but others don't. Some seem to take umbrage with that because I pointed it out, this is while they ignore serious foul play on said player which I also pointed out would have likely reversed any original penalty if the ref was on the ball. There posters claimed the original issue was clear yet couldn't produce anything to show it, instead throwing hissyfits about people pointing out it was clear and they couldn't show it to be and the mattr being more complex.

Instead of being Mr Angry Pants, maybe you would like to address those posters who are unable to discuss the matter properly and act as the eternal victims

No my reading is fine, me not pandering to the every whim of your typing doesn't indicate a problem with my reading or comprehension whatsoever. The majority of your comments here in no way discussed addressing the matter but are more focused on sweeping the issue under the rug; hence you trying to suggest it's all fine and rosy.

Yeah you're right, a Munster player did go off his feet, fact. Wasn't the penalty count 0 in favour of Munster, or was that made up?

I'm not Mr Angry Pants at all, another stupid, hissyfit statement from you to go with all the others.

Please present one example as to how on this thread thread as it seems the likes of you, RF and LD who want to discuss under narrow parameters and try to shut the issue down with accusations like you’re making by saying discuss on our terms.

I’ll await you backing up your claim but expect you to run away like the other two because you have nothing
