Italy v France
First congrats on France pulled it out at the end and were smart with the DG
Italy now have had a game two years in a row that they should have won but lost due to the pressure of getting it over the line. In both games they seemed to panic and also not have the leadership to stop the headless chicken stuff and do the basics. Allan is a better kicker than they have had but I think the pressure was a big part of that kick in front of the posts. If it was Treviso he would have knocked that over.
TT at 9 has made a big difference and losing him for the Scotland game was a big loss.
I think Parisee is too passionate to make the big decisions so him retiring might bring on the younger leaders as will Bennetton being in more of those pressure games.
They have improved on defence and weren't the TBP machine they usually are. They stopped Wales and France getting one and Ireland just got over the line.
They also were missing their star 15

That Italian outside centre deserved a slap on the side of his head, especially for the second chance, even if he was making his debut.

Italy bottled it big time. Completely dominated, pathetic that they didn’t win.

I think it's a lack of leaders in the heat of battle
