WBC orders Campbell vs Lomachenko

Luke Campbell's hopes of becoming world champion have been shattered after WBC decided they want their title unified. World lightweight champion Lomachenko has been very vocal about becoming undisputed champion. This will be a one sided mauling.

That's a potential career-ending fight right there.

Hearn pretty annoyed that his proposed fight between Campbell and WBC #3 ranked contender Devin Haney was rejected by WBC. Haney recently signed with Hearn and DAZN.

Yeah, I don't think Campbell really stands much of a chance, but I do think it will be more competitive than the Crolla fight.

While the WBC agreeing to this fight - rather than a top contender from their own rankings - is very unconventional, it shouldn't come as a surprise that if you want a world title, you'll need to fight someone pretty damn good to get it!
