Why should Elias move? He’s next in line to Wales’ 2 shirt apparently. Plus Cardiff have Dacey. Maybe he should go Ospreys?

Shame so many Kiwis have to come to Europe to play in a proper competition. But NZ has always been obsessed with stealing plates from the PI they gave no thought to what sort of tournaments would be appealing to a mass audience.

In fact Rassie is being smart, seems he wants European clubs to foot the bill for paying his players, he is reducing the number of pro players in SA to free up more money for development.
Then once RWC comes along he pulls the best from everywhere.

Because he'd be first choice at Cardiff. Dacey is gash. Ospreys have Parry, Otten and the upcoming Lake - all are decent so a move there wouldn't be good. I can't see him displacing Dee. Owens could be the one to move on instead but I don't see that happening.

Yes that’s one way of doing things. NZ and Oz could follow suit and getting the players back during world cup year, provided they played Super rugby THAT year- might work.

Decent win. Good to see Wales playing a different style of rugby and running the ball again, finally. Lots of play off 10 instead of 9 which makes for a nice change. Plenty of improvement within this style of play. Jarrod Evans looked much better for his blip in the summer. Sam Davies probably had his blip here and looked nervous from the bench. Might be his last chance as Dan Jones is no worse, but not sure either are good enough for test rugby.
Tipuric best player on the pitch, for either side.
Wainwright, Tomos Williams went well as well, and Wyn Jones showing some good all round play.
On Elias mentioned above, I called Wyn Jones this time last year when he was well out of the picture in most peoples' minds. Might be worth just trusting me once in a while, boys. Elias had a massive game out in Toulon and another good performance in a poor game against Ulster. Dee looks tidy but Elias will go right to the top. Clearly no need to leave the Scarlets - Wyn Jones is testament to that, if you're good enough you'll get picked, even if you're the best 1 and 2 in Wales. Ken is 32, doesn't have long left, and will be managed/rotated very soon, if not already. Elias and Dee should push each other well for years to come. Like the 9s, Hardy and Tomos. Hardy has some work to do on his game management on the back foot but there's some real attacking talent coming through with Wales.
One major issue still is size and strength. That was a pretty ropey BaBas side who looked like they'd been on the p1ss the night before but Wales still struggled to exert any physicality outside Jake Ball, again, and maybe Shingler and Ken Owens as well.
Would have liked to see Scott Williams get a game. Hope he's back for the 6 Nations.
Also McNicholl was quiet. Basically two involvements, one being a walk in.

Shingler possibly a long term injury. Not yet certain. Would be typical...

Re: Wales RWC 2019 thread Number II
Shingler apparently just a knock, not long term injury.
