***England v France - MATCH CANCELLED***

MATCH CANCELLED  Result in the book is 0-0.

Massive disappointment all round.

Was looking forward to witnessing two teams try their hardest not to win the pool and have the easier route to the Final.
As it is England finish on top and now face a massive challenge to overcome to make the final.

Can't help but think dark forces are at work to scupper our chances of lifting the Webb Ellis Cup again.

At 38 years old I never enjoy my weekend anyway nowadays. I either end up doing sod all and wake up on Monday wishing I had gone out and socialised......or go out socialising, get really drunk and wake up on Monday feeling mentally and physically wrecked, totally skint wishing I had spent the weekend doing sod all

Thats how I used to feel until I gave up booze forever, my weekends are still boring enough though.

I know why they are in black. If England win the World Cup I'll tell you.

I think the worst impact of this cancellation for England will be that Wilson and Slade won’t get game time. For me Billy is well below par and it would have been good to see what Wilson could have brought, I rate the guy very highly. Though I think it unlikely that Billy be dropped I think Wilson in the bench as an impact option is a great move. Likewise Slade needs some time and I would have played him at 12 v France with JJ at13, ford or Farrell at 10 not fussed. Again without a serious run out it will be hard to know what impact he could have off the bench. Well well at least less chance of injury this week

Honestly the biggest impact on that is they might not get OBEs if Engalnd win the thing.
