First topic message reminder :

Or would he be just a great champion..

Watched a show on HBO where observers said he needed it to be a bonafide great and finish his legacy!!!

Did Leonard really need it ??

A contentious win for sure anyway...

Think it probably was the difference in him being top 10..

The Hagler win definately added to Leonards legacy as he cameback from retirement, moved upto a higher weight and defeated a long established, dominant champion. Also, Marvin was regarded as the No.1 P4P fighter in the World at the time.

Did he need it, I'd say no as he had already beaten top opposition in the 1st part of his career.

He's in my Top 10 all-time as he's one of the best fighters, I've ever seen.
