Kerevi International allegiance.
How is it that Kerevi can seemingly move to Japan and hope to switch his allegiance to Fiji in time for the 2023 World Cup? I thought that once you were captured for a team that was it?!?
I’ve read three articles and none of them mention how it works just that he wants to represent Fiji and not Australia moving forward.
Cheers

Re: Kerevi International allegiance.
0layers capped for Tier 1 team can go on to qualify for Tier 2 team. Certain rules and provisos involved, but it is possible. Charles Piutau was looking into it to play for Tonga in this world cup.

I thought there was a way involving the Olympic 7s.

Re: Kerevi International allegiance.
There is a route through sevens but Kerevi has taken to Instagram to say he wasn't serious.
"Disappointing to be taken out of context, quoted for things I didn't say and when your [sic] having a bit of a laugh at a function.
"I've loved representing Fiji in my younger days and I am proud of my Fijian heritage but also extremely proud and honoured to be a Wallaby and all that Australia has done for my family and I."
