So we can equal Farrells grab as an MMA leg bar? Both similar holds no?

Heaf it’s Ben O’Keefe. He’s a kiwi but loves his mates Australia. He was shocking overseeing our game against them. Blatant late charge on Halfpenny waved on, Half had to then take 6 months off through concussion. He laughed and joked with his mate David Pocock all through the game!
Anyway, back to this.

Yes it was wrong but when you take the law into your own hands it gets reversed
Go and read a rule book, if you can!

Stander struck two players, not sure why he hit Itoje. More ref’s should probably ping holding guys in the ruck, but I think this one should have been a penalty reversal and nothing more.

Itoje held 2 irish players on the floor Mikey, resulting in pulling standers shirt off, he reacted appropriately on both occasions...
Although england have targeted him, and done a great job getting under his skin, he hasn't been smart today

Thought not!
What have black English players got to do with Stander being a resident qualified player?
Tighthead is being his usual self but in no way are those two situations comparable

Farrell has to drop him and move on.
Dull game, was expecting more than Ireland.

I'm a pretty decent standard ref, I certainly wouldn't call the games laws a rule book lol
He hasn't retaliated, because his intent is clearly to escape Farrells grasp, not retaliate against Farrell, otherwise he wouldn't have done it while trying to run from the ruck...
The picture painted for the ref is illegal player, and victim trying to escape.

Racial stereotyping is real stereotyping, if it makes you feel uncomfortable using a more severe example of the same thing, why argue for the initial insult!
Do you think 'saffers' are typically cheating thugs?

When is being called one an insult?
Oh dear you need a cup of tea mate and stop crying foul like the Irish winger buying a penalty.

Good performance and result from England, the opposite of what Wales tried to do to Ireland...
I don't fancy Wales chances much, I think the rush defence just killed them, despite knowing what was coming, and this England team will do very similar, but probably more effective!

Happy with the win, but. after Cowan Dickie's try, we should have had a much better tactical sense of how to get a bonus point. You can't expect it to happen but I never got the sense we were playing to get it.

A slight, slight lift of spirits in that end bit (20 minutes or so) which quite clearly showed the younger alternatives need to be given the respect to be given starts they deserve.
If Farrell wants to develop Ireland, then the players with a potential to be there in the next WC need to be the core unit to build on.

Great win for England, Ireland looked very lethargic most of the game.
No Grand Slam for Ireland this year....Could they actually stop France from Getting the Grand Slam? If they like thy did today then the answer in NO.
Johnny Sexton's kicks at goal was the worst i have seen him play....question is with him being ireland Captain. Should he actually keep his place in the squad? or is it time to bring in a new 10?

So your argument is that because Stander was called a Saffer (where he was born and raised until the age of around 21), its acceptable to question the "heritage" of black lads born and raised in England?
What exactly are you questioning?

Your defending an accusation of cheating and illegal play by an Irish player as being 'typically saffer'
So answer the question, do you think SA people are 'typically' cheats and violent thugs?

Go on Dave, be a big man and call out their heritage. Let's see what you've got. Say it with your chest

Farrell was offside grabbing onto Stander's leg. Ref got it spot on.
How did the TMO not call the refs attention to the no arm tackle on May after the break. Touch and go whether the tackle was late or not but there's no question that there's absolutely no attempt to wrap the arms.
Good performance by England but the attack is still lethargic with ball carriers too often being isolated. Ireland just looked predictable throughout and couldn't win the physical battle so often went backwards. If Ireland are going to persevere with that game plan they need some creativity in midfield.

New 10.
And Sexton has always been highly iffy with his points kicking. I've never ever been confident with that aspect of his game for his entire career.
But from here on in I think he has to accept more of a mentor's role and accept perhaps a 'finisher' role off the bench if still in the side. He took the job from O'Gara and now he's reached his end stage.

Loving Slade's 'tache.
Pretty good hit-out for England, some top notch performances. Bit of an odd one from Eddie, mind you - Ewels on in the back row and packing down at 8? That was a serious WTF moment.
Top shift from Lawes, for all the "lock at 6" moans he carried well and put himself about. Itoje is bloody good, isn't he?
Even Youngs was pretty decent today!

Despite not agreeing with a late or no arm, there is definately a question to ask the TMO... I do think though that was a bit of a make up from not seeing the clear knock on by May out of the 9's hands...

Agree with both of these, Sam. Ref got it right on the first one, and wrong on the latter. First thing I said was about the lack of arms, regardless of how late or not it may have been.
To not review it? Very odd.
